@@AirgunChannel Speaking of ammo, have you tried Nielsen slugs yet? Wow just Wow. I always used H&N. Bro these are perfectly cast and balanced. He explains on his website how his old mold cast slugs were never perfectly balanced. As in perfect weight distribution. So he talked to his wife about getting this super expensive press and did. Now all of the slugs are perfect. I just ordered another batch. I'm sure he would send you some to review if you haven't already.

Umarex 30 caliber my favorite. Haven't got one yet but I'm working on it. It seems to be the best for your buck and more so in fact. One gentleman on a podcast shot a 2 l bottle and it went through it without falling over at 405 yards with a 40 grain slug. That's absolutely insane to go through a 2-liter bottle of Pop filled up and knock knock it over and go through both sides. Definitely strong enough for hog hunting. Hunting pig is a little bit different if they're charging you because their skulls are too thick. Other people creep up on them and just take them out from the side. But when you hunt in Florida and you have little Palm shrubs everywhere and you have a mother with piglets do you have about 2 seconds before it comes charging at you and by the way you don't know it's even there until it pops out.

Absolutely rifle!! I am currently sucking up every video I can find about the Gauntlet 2 30SL. I f you can find the distance, try slugs. Shooter 1721 was using Griffin 78grn slugs,out to 200 yards. I have a SL22 its a good rifle I plan to do some mods to mine want to the tac furniture and a carbon bottle to save weight then I want a 30 to do the same. I also agree on the Notos as suggestion for the price it is a great little gun. I will add my own suggestion Benjamin Bulldog I have a M357 its a great gun has lots of power. I have been obsessed got these 3 guns all in about a months time a few months back I was shocked at how well these do.

I’d love to get started in pcp. But it’s so hard to commit when between a gun and a compressor it’s a grand or more. That much I can get 2-4 regular rifles or pistols

Get a hand pump friendly gun like the fortitude or nemesis X and the pump is just $40...or a $300 Yonh Heng or protable 12v compressor. ...just spend $2000 and go all in!

Mine doesn't fire. New out of the box I got two good shots and then it stopped working. For some reason the air isn't properly flowing, just get a little puff of air each time. I unscrewed the degass screw all the way and no air comes out. I'm sure its an easy fix, but I just hate that I spent money on something that needs work.

No. I just had not added it yet when I filmed the first part. All the groups were shot with the Donny. The accuracy was because it was not tuned to 890 fps.

I have some guns way more expensive than this one and I shoot this one the most! Great for coyotes and smaller can probably take a hog but I don’t have them in pa. I got mine close to 120fpe either the hammer spring adjusted and the right slugs. So much fun.

Here's a tough question. I just purchased an fx Panthera 600 mm Barrel 22 caliber. I would have liked a 700 mm but it's just too long. I was told ideally a 30 grain or maybe a 32 grain slug with a 600 mm barrel is optimal. With a 700 mm Barrel you can easily shoot 40 grain 22 cal slugs. My question is you wanted more energy and switched over to say a 25 cal or a 30 cal barrel liner while keeping the 600 mm barrel can you make up the difference of not having a 700 barrel where you can shoot 40 grain 22 cal slugs? In other words will it somehow equal out shooting 600 mm Barrel 30 cal 40 grain slug as compared to shooting with a 700 mm barrel with a 22 caliber 40 grain slug in terms of accuracy and FPE / energy?

I'm looking for a big bore also and in my research MANY people complain that JTS has terrible customer service..if you have a problem and contact them it's impossible.. nobody calls you back..they won't help with anything.. just that is a deal breaker for me..I own a.22 Marauder and have had it apart many times.. I've needed many parts.. never a problem whatsoever..good support is extremely important and umarex has great support..I had a spring magnum 350 and had a problem with the trigger I contacted them and bought a new one..they sent it right out..I later had a problem with the spring and that time when I called them they pulled up my information that was on file already and just sent me a new spring no charge.. umarex is great to deal with.
