Dude! This is so early! I almost had a heart attack! :D Ok… the thing at 5-6 minutes is kinda complicated. I’ll just explain it step by step. So, XGaster told Sans to levitate Frisk down. Then, as he checked his hand, his future vision got glitched out of existence. He realised that the decision he just made is somehow leading him away from his goal, so he immediately grabbed Sans to stop him. That caused Frisk to fall and break his arm. But since they still share the same SOUL, the damage also transferred to XGaster. But he didn’t care about that, he was just glad his future vision stabilised. Um.. I hope that’s understandable? If not, ask, I’ll try again :D… The kid on Papyrus’s shoulder is Monster Kid. You can Google him no problem. He’s just a guy you briefly travel through Waterfall with. He’s obsessed with Undyne (and then Papyrus after Pacifist Ending). Other than that, it’s amazing how much you understood from this part! You are seriously fantastic :D But yeah, you should definitely read the comic. It’s not too long, and it’s basically just retelling of timeline X from Cross’s perspective. Also! People were telling you to watch XTale movie, if you noticed. A bit too late for that, obviously, but at least check out the ending! There’s an Xtra (:P) scene during credits. Nothing too vital to live without, but still really good. And finally.. maybe rewatch Underverse 0.4 to refresh your memory of where exactly everyone stands. There could be important things you forgot, and being confused because of that isn’t very fun. Anyway, let’s go onward towards Owners! :D Just a warning though: it’s even more non-specific and confusing, especially since you don’t know the original game. I do believe in your awesome figuring-it-out skills, but will definitely be ready to explain the references :D… (P.S. Remember: always turn on subtitles for things you can’t read on your own.)

The kid in Papyrus' shoulder is a character literally referred in the game as "Monster Kid". Most of his appearence is him being all amazed by Undyne while interacting with the human during a portion of the game. Also, he has no arms.

The comic takes place in this time and is all in Cross’s perspective. Some things either not seen here or are cut short are extended greatly there. Check it out when you can Chocolate milk has the same effects of alcohol for Xgaster By the end of these timelines, X!chara is at least a century old now. Xgaster age is completely unknown however which is interesting

Welcome to my massive lore dump where I explain EVERY piece of random info I know about the Xtale cast that isn't brought up in the animations! As I'm sure many of you know, Cross is scared of cows, especially the mooing (apparently). Similarly, XChara is terrified of spiders, which is unfortunate, since XFrisk was in an actual relationship with XMuffet in timeline I and/or II. In timeline X, XFrisk was initially hostile to most people. Based off of a very subtle detail in one of the Epictale-Xtale crossover comics, XGaster appears to be aroace. Chocolate milk affects XGaster like alcohol for some reason. In a presumably non-canon ask blog style comic, XChara formed a crush on Echo!Frisk, which aside from being a bit weird (since XFrisk is his brother), does show us what XChara's type is. Unfortunately for him, Echo!Frisk didn't realize XChara is a grown man in a child's body, so she just though he was being cute. XMuffet's mom was actually one of XFrisk's creations, like XMettaton. This is somewhat concerning considering that means XFrisk made his girlfriend's mom... erm... don't worry about it. A result of growing up with XAlphys in timeline X is that both XPapyrus and Cross watch anime. There seems to be three main reoccuring motifs in Xtale/Underverse's OST. The most frequent is, of course, Overwrite, XChara's theme. It seems to be a favorite of Nyx, who has remixed it more than any of his other songs, and everyone else, with quite a few smaller channels creating their own remixes. The second main version of Overwrite includes motifs from The Legend and THE WORLD REVOLVING from Deltarune. Both Overwrite and Duplicity, XFrisk's theme, include the Bring It On motif, Frisk's theme in Glitchtale. Rekindle, one of XGaster's theme, is also fairly common. Cross's Theme also pops up from time to time. Total "X" count: 20.

I think chocolate milk affects XGaster in that way because the half of XChara determined soul, being that in og Undertale it is implied that Chara likes chocolate.

I could see why time could be the same everywhere, for Error and Ink that was just a short moment and the other universes had a lot of resets happening (with millions of timelines, Error must be pretty ancient and for him to exist a geno in undertale should've happened a lot of times in the same timeline)

IF you want to do a reaction for the Xtale comic, as opposed to just reading it on your own time, I know of a Spanish dub that keeps the English text. That's the best I can do, because as far as I'm aware a full English dub of the comic does not exist. And I've done a LOT of looking. 2:30 I would like to introduce you to Littletale and Quantumtale. 7:16 Monster food=magic=healing 11:20 Trust me, she's worse. OOOH BOY!!!! WE'RE HERE, FINALLY!!! - 31:34 No, that's not Alphys!!! It's probably because you never played the original Undertale that you don't know him. That's Monster Kid! He's a small, armless dinosaur, a really big fan of Undyne, and helped Frisk get away from Undyne accidentally a few times. - In the end fight, Sans was not overwritten at all, he took matters into his own hands and became his own third-party in this world. He wanted to take the OVERWRITE button and use it to give everyone a new chance.

Honestly, watching through season 1 of Underverse after seeing the events of X!Tale is very satisfying, and I recommend doing it off camera before watching season 2. Like a recap, but with knowledge of what's happening.

“Satisfying” is definitely.. one word for it. It kinda lets you see just how horrible Ink acted throughout the story. His “speech” to Cross in 0.3 part 1 absolutely kills me every single time. Just.. why? Why would you do that? That’s *so* needlessly cruel! *And* it kinda seems like he’s almost smiling while saying that! Ugh… Ink *is* my favourite character in Underverse, but damn that moment pisses me off.

I've always seen XGaster's "irregular but perfect" statement to be about the story not the empty void. XGaster's entire goal was to make his world stand above all others, to create the "perfect" story. A key part of enjoying a story is *not* knowing how everything will end, the mystery and tension keeping you engaged. Gaster spent so long micromanaging everything but was always dissatisfied because he was in control, he knew how it would end. Now, after he's given up the power to Overwrite he no longer knows how everything go, how the story will end, he can only guess. It is irregular and unplanned but it makes for a good story, and that's exactly what he's been searching for, a story which weaves together entire universes and resounds across realities.

I love this chapter so much! It looks like everything is going so wrong for Xgaster. But as the entire world is completely unraveling he acts as if he's won. It looks like madness, and it probably is. But from watching 0.4 we know that his plan worked. And now going forward, we have only a vague idea of what he's trying to achieve. Also, I love Relight.

Cool fun facts (About Xtale, Underverse or just AUs in general): 1) Error has a phobia of Touching and is afraid of Fresh. 2) I’m fairly sure Killer sans is canonically Latino? Might be wrong idk 3) Core frisk is canonically in a relationship with ReaperTale Chara 4) There are two Non canon brother groups of the community: Error, Fresh and Geno. And Ink, Cross and Reaper 5) Cross/XSans’ best friend is EpicTale Sans (you will meet him in UnderVerse soon and if you do read it, in the XTale + EpicTale “Cross”Over 6) There was an official April fools crossover between GlitchTale and Underverse/XTale where XChara and Betty fight (it was just a loading screen for 10+ minutes) 7) Ink and Error have canonically never met but their creators said that if they did they’d be friends. 8) Epic Sans can do the Kamehameha and Uses a Rubber Chicken to fight 9) Killer Sans loves Cats 10) Swap sans and Error sans are best Friends 11) Swap Papyrus hates Error 12) Underverse is actually an acted out show.

For Xtale X is not a good episode on its own because Jakei couldn't animate the climax(the last 7-10 minutes if you are watching the episode and not THE MOVIE). She animated this in 6 months She needed at least a part 2 or a longer episode that would've taken her almost 2 years to animate everything (I'm not demanding just saying ) especially the last 2 battles: Cross vs Half of Xtale and Cross (last stand) vs all the 9 Xtale characters and X frisk/Xchara *exhales You just did an "I ain't reading all of that" for a series that requires context to be experienced

Also Timeline X story is split into 2, ome is the comic and one is the animation, the comic one is Sans (cross) more focused abt it and it's more detail about what happend. The Animation one is more focused in XGaster and his point of view, alongside with Frisk and Chara, I suggest you react to both to completely understand it.
