Did you know about that "anomaly " like the rear left wheel to touch the fendet top lip while the rear right to be ok? It happened to my '71 KG after I bolted back the body onto the frame.

It could be anything but the body can move left to right as the holes are slotted. None of them are the exact same size as the bolts going through them.

Have you ever had an issue with alignment hardware loosening due to powdercoat "squish" ? Serrated washers? Nice work. 🙂

Great question. The short answer is no. Can it happen depending on the client, the powder coat quality, the prep quality, the thickness of powder coat, the Popeye or Olive Oyl strength, flatness of parts prior to powdercoat.... so many variables. But it can happen for sure.

Is that a custom torsion housing with added shock tower ??? I'm wondering how you would set the tension if you have a custom torsion housing without a shock tower to compress the torsion bar from ??? Again I'm looking at building a sandrail, so it's not like I have a floorpan or even a torsion housing assembly to begin with

Why are parts dipped in amonia prior to powdercoat?

Brings the part back to original raw state and allows us to visually inspect it for cracks, bends, etc.

More than likely you are off by some degrees or you will need to measure it under a load.
