Thank you. I'll put those on my list soon.

Shooting Envirolak 200 and 170 I found 1100psi/25psi to be best with the Wagner 4700 gun (unthinned). I keep a circuit board cleaning brush handy to keep the tip clean.

Check out my latest video on HVLP guns. I give the needle sizes that I like to use.

Thanks for the videos! I have noticed some leakage coming out of the tip after spraying. It slowly pushes out while it’s hung up waiting for the next door. Do you think an entire hun cleaning is in order?
@raymondglick3345 Жыл бұрын
Probably needs a good cleaning and a little lubrication so the valve can move freely.

I noticed your using the excite gun now…do you like it better than the Wagner?
@raymondglick3345 Жыл бұрын
Is still use both guns. The Xcite does great with top coats and not as well with heavy primers unless thinned a little. I like them both and tend to go back and forth between the two 🙂

I wonder if I can achieve anything close to this by hooking up a compressor to my cheaper prox17 graco. I doubt it given the amount of pump "noise" from those cheaper units.
@raymondglick3345 Жыл бұрын
You need a pump that can put out consistent pressure. I tried with my Graco GX19 and had too much pulsating.
@the_sharp_carpenter Жыл бұрын
@@raymondglick3345 same, I tried with a 399 and a gx19 with a binks AA 1600M and you might as well just spray with a graco fflp tip. Need that consistent pressure.

@@raymondglick3345do you think a Graco 490 would work? very similar to the T5
@raymondglick33456 ай бұрын
I've never used that machine. The Graco GX 19 I had didn't work very well.
@johnspanos3862 Жыл бұрын
What size compressor? CFM needed for this? Thanks!
@raymondglick3345 Жыл бұрын
Needs very little CFM as most of the atomizing is done with fluid pressure and very little air. Any small compressor will work. Now if you're spraying with a cup gun, that's a different story!
@carlosromero-ft4sg10 ай бұрын
where did you get that thing that hold the both lines, thanks
@homesteadcabinetdesign340610 ай бұрын
Kremlin makes that plastic sleave. I think you can get it from Total Finishing Supplies
@MIKEC2000 Жыл бұрын
Do you stop spraying when the compressor kicks on?
@homesteadcabinetdesign3406 Жыл бұрын
No, the compressor will keep up no problem without stopping. This takes much less air than conventional HVLP cup gun.

@@dougw2340 that's awesome what gun you using/paint?
@dougw2340 Жыл бұрын
I use the Wagner GM4700AC gun. I’ve been spraying waterbase Envirolak primer, paint and clear mainly. I use 08/30 (308), 09/30 (309) and 10/40 (410) tips and the blue air cap. I use 25psi air (triggered) and 1200psi on the ED655
