I watched this as a teenager, great show. Shame they didn't make the second planned series. Really enjoyed seeing this again.

Apparently the writer had plans for 4 series up to the 1960s, with later aircraft like the Stratocruiser and Constellation being featured instead of the Dakota.

Excellent!!! Proper TV from the good old days!!! I loved this series when I was a kid...I even bought the Theme Tune on vinyl (which I still have and just played) Thanks for uploading...I'm going to enjoy watching this!!!! :)

This theme would've been good for ITV's coverage of the World Cup in the 80s. You can just imagine clips of Maradona and Zico running across to this!
