Here's where DEI hires wouldn't matter to me. This only applies if not enough "qualified" applicants show up, go ahead and hire them on what you FEEL is correct. 1.) WalMart Greeter. 2.) A restaurant Host/Hostess 3.) Any kind of cashier that doesn't deal with ANYTHING that can be absorbed by the human body (no food, medicine, etc.). 4.) People who collect the shopping carts from parking lots 5.) Window cleaners, on ground level buildings only. 6.) Car wash attendant (only washing and vacuuming of the vehicles). 7.) Basic lawn care with a lawn mower (no sit down) and basic sheers only. 8.) LOW level waste facility worker. People at conveyer belts sifting through garbage. 9.) The people who unload donations at thrift stores like goodwill/salvation army. 10.) A junk/salvage yard worker (cars). Basically any job where if the unqualified person messes up, it only hurts themselves or the idiotic company that hired them and where if something is damaged, the damage is so low that it's easily fixable/replaced. Feel free to add to the list if you'd like.

I get the questioner's point, and it is legitimate: under the conditions described, people become *more* racist because DEI is involved with hiring instead of strictly merit. That would mean that, visually, a person like him would be considered more competent than perhaps he is - strictly because of his skin color. That is a racist attitude, it is wrong to have ... and we could say that absolutely if DEI wasn't involved in the hiring of people and instead people were hired based on merit. DEI *encourages* racism - it doesn't solve it.
