You really need an asphalt runway.

They would probably prefer that on takeoff, but probably not landing as it would be much more difficult to land without the grass and "soft" ground lightening the impact. It think it can be difficult to properly touch down the gear lightly in a RC airplane on asphalt comparatively.

Ronaldo In the gliding club I’m in the launches are done on an asphalt runway, but we land on the grass beside it. I guess a similar thing could be done there.

@6 6 I can agree for some experienced pilots, but I see more people flop the landing, making grass better, versus buttering the bread on asphalt. A crash on grass versus Asphalt is better imo

This event NEEDS a hard runway! Not only would it make the take offs and landings look more ‘scale’ it would also help protect some of these beautiful aircraft from the often bouncy and rough landings. Just in this film there were at least 3 aircraft damaged on landing and countless near misses... Great formation flight of the Concordes and lovely Tristar too, and your 777 was fantastic too!

@@websitesthatneedanem harsh toke.... That's actually one of the most common issues during landing. I've seen a hundred time and even done it myself. You don't actually need to go around. The landing can be saved by counterintuitively feeding in some throttle and settling it down using mostly the throttle. The problem is once it's starts porpoising elevator alone will only lead to what happened in the video.

Wow , this man is a skilled craftsman! He would make a significant amount of money , if he did this for a job! Amazing stuff, Man that landing you made with the 777 was so good, great job. Also at 16:20 when that blackbird landed that was crazy how smooth that landing was. I’m not going to lie at 13:52 I almost thought for a moment that it was a real beechcraft that was about to buzz the field. It’s crazy how much detail goes into these RC Aircraft to make them look so good. Amazing content as always and this vid was awesome.
