Superb! What a lovely lady! Having flown on G-BOAD Manchester to Paris via The Bay for M2 and 60,000' in the jump seat for the entire flight (I knew the captain - we both flew vintage light aeroplanes into fly-ins), strapped in, safety briefed, headset on, audio panel briefed, I was interested in Julie's Concorde experience. For me that was followed by 14 years as a tour guide on G-BOAC at Manchester at weekends initially, from 2004 (I was in from the beginning - from day one. What a learning curve for all of us!), then much more often after I retired from the day job in 2008. We got a heck of a lot slicker as time went on. Great insight from the cabin! thanks.

Nice one...the one and only Julie Reynolds...looking forward to this one. 👍👍👍 Hard to believe, it is now 20 years, today, since the last commercial flights of Concorde, the last three landing at LHR being G-BOAE, G-BOAF and G-BOAG.

One thing I hate is going somewhere, shop, flight.. And the person is yeah whatever i get paid and I'm not interested at all. Julie is totally the opposite, so enthusiastic, happy and obviously loves her job. Wish more people were like that

What a great interview. As ex-BA crew myself the 747 was an amazing aircraft with so much more space for crew and passengers compared to the 787s and 350s now. My first 747 flight was to New York JFK on a 747-200 with big screens at the front of each cabin and my last was a 9 day trip to Singapore and Melbourne on the 747-400. The good old days.

Great interview. It throws me back. I flew for ba for 26.5 years, amazing memories, amazing crew…. I actually wrote everything down, all the adventures, all the good times with crew AND non crew downroute. (I might even write a book out off all of it 😁).

I flew 8 hours from Scotland to Canada back in the 80s. Not one flight attendant gave me the time of day. I was 20, it was my first flight and I was Terrified. Shame on them.

The stewardesses and stewards of today are no where near as they were and the flying of today is not as good at all. And the seats were better and more comfortable too. Standards have dropped considerably.
