No joke but I actually interned with the SFO airside operations department last summer and it was an absolute incredible experience! I learned so much about that department during my time interning there. While interning there, everyone in that department was very welcoming and helpful to me, making sure I got a full understanding of airside operations.

@@KuostAit was a paid job and I basically was learning everything about airside operations as well as having two big projects. It was overall a learning experience for me but definitely opened up a new career path for me.

I binge watched all the Doug Yakel videos of a few years ago, I wish those videos were an hour each, he's great. I emailed him to tell him so, he emailed me back! It's never gonna change but the use of "tarmac" for an airport is my pet peeve; you're on a runway, taxiway or apron/ramp.
