I think what they did was take the fuselage of a 787 and flipped it over on top of a 747. I think they're so strange looking! They look more like whales than planes. The Airbus Beluga is even weirder! They put a smiley face on that one. Really nice shot, Kevin! That sucker is LOUD!

Dreamlifters are amazing. I was lucky enough to do the Boeing factory tour at Everett back when they were still building 747s, 777s and 787s there, and one of the other members of our tour group was a Dreamliner captain. He said that despite the ungainly appearance, the performance isn't much different to a regular 747. After the tour we went outside and watched a Dreamlifter take off and hoo boy are they impressive in person!
