Heck, I own: Airpods3: Those are going up on eBay, they are obselete. Airpods4 ANC: If I'm exercising my Pro2 start to slowly come out of my ear plus nothing comes close to the comfort of these, no feeling of anything jammed in your ears, no weird microphonics when you speak (e.g. on calls), these are perfect day to day, for jogs, gym, long calls, low to medium noise environments, etc. Airpods Pro2: If I'm travelling light, or I know I will be on a noisy train or office, these are awesome. The ANC is not quite as good as the Max, but close and they are suitable for summer use where the Max are just too hot. Airpods Max: They don't quite match Sennheiser HD600 but to have this level of sound on the go with ANC is incredible, the ANC truly is next level, way better than the Bose 700 I had. This is what I use if it's not a hot day and I have space in my bag. They are quite big and heavy though!

dont buy them. the maxes have slightly better audio quality but the ANC is not that good. airpods max does less things for the price of 2.5 airpod pros. the sound difference is not much i feel like they sound the same. the ANC on the pro 2s make up for the slight audio quality loss. dont waste your money. if you want 500 dollar headphones with the best noise cancelling, get the bose quiet comfort ultra and they have amazing audio quality or for 260 get the sony WH 1000XM4 they have ANC and a rich tone.

@@r0main.895 idk if it the battery life changes. But i can def say that wired sounds significantly better than standard 256kbps bluetooth so long as youre listening to lossless music. bluetooth quality is pretty bad, you just dont notice bc thats what youre hearing most of the time.

I have been using the Max for the past couple years so I decided to pick up the 4 with ANC, and they are awesome. Doesn’t even feel like I have them in and the ANC works just fine. I do wish the volume was on the stem and the batter life was a little better, but overall I’m happy with my purchase.

please be very careful buying airpod pro 2 from Amazon. Just had to return them because they were copies. The Apple site serial code verification system showee that the case was a real Apple case, but the airpods pro 2 were fakes and their serial number weren’t recognized by Apple. They were sold at 300$ canadian. Got my money back and bought directly from Apple. Remember, if the price is lower than Apple’s, you are almost certain you’ve bought low quality copies.

these days i use my Max more. theyre comfortable and theyll never die on you whereas the pros only last me about 5 hrs. so at some point you have to take the pros off.

@@RiqMoranfor anc especially and listening you can not evn compare the max and airpod pro 2. The buds are so dependent on ear shape that the only way to deal with it is use over ear. The original max can be purchased new for 399. The usb c is a silly reason to spend 150 more but if you can then do it. As someone else said on here I do wonder if they are trying to let the max fade.

my Airpods Max had to be repaired 2 times. The last time it was outside warranty. For $600 Apple should be ashamed for selling everyone on headphones that stop connecting after 2 years. And now my fiancé has the same problem but her country can’t fix them. Don’t buy the AirPods Max. Apple cares more about the ones that fit in your pocket apparantly. the airpods 2 still works for me just has bad battery now.

I'm a musician and vioin teacher. My current hearing protection is a real obstacle when it comes to practicing and teaching. I hope the AirPods Pro will use the transparency mode to reduce the volume yet deliver sound as accurately as possible. Unfortunately I can' wear them on stage because they're white. It's not even a noise cancellation that is a deal-breaker. It's the ambient mode that I love the most. As a samsung guy I had to pick the AirPods because the ambient mode is what I needed with my open ears

I was never a fan of earbuds then I tried the AirPods Pro II when they came out and use them all the time both for fit and sound. I'm looking forward to trying the new software features. The one BIG complaint with AirPods is updating them is mess, you can't just press a button on the iPhone and start the update, you have to set the AirPods next to the iPhone and wait forever for them to update. Never thought much of the AirPods Max and now taking away wired sound that makes them useless. I wanted some over the ear headphones so I got the Beats Studio Pro. Beats is part of Apple so the tech is similar in both, but price is way better especially when they go on sale. Also the Beats Studio Pro's get lossless audio with USB-C cable.

I wouldn't say sound quality is an AirPod thing. We all have different goals/desires in terms of sound quality but to me, the AirPods Pro 2 are rather flat, boring, plasticky sounding. I guess the majority like them but for me, they are disappointing in terms of sound quality - not sure if Apple is too concerned regarding sound quality as they are going more the health route with this and have forgotten about the Max in reality. NEVER buy AirPods thinking they'll sound great - they most certainly DO NOT. What they do, do is offer a really great experience in term of connectivity with great design and ease of use. Buy them for those reasons and you'll be delighted.

I have the airpods pro and quite like them, especially for the gym and their noise cancellation is really good for just earbuds. I was quite surprised, I also sleep with them if it's noisy outside, as they work better than ear plugs. I used to use my Beats headphones to sleep but broke them that way, so earbuds are better for that

I just bought AirPods Max and I’m obsessed. ANC is way better than AirPods Pro 2 and the battery lasts all day. AirPods Max is very comfortable to sleep with and I can listen to sleep music on very low volume without hearing any outside noise.

I’m sorry, but after buying APM USB C after owning the APP2 USB C, the difference in sound quality, ANC, Transparency mode, is not worth the double price of APP2. If you want to be literal, the APM has a bit better ANC due to its design, not functionality. Very underwhelming. Especially, considering all the feature the APP2 have. Please don’t do it. Unless you have APP1. But even then, not worth the money. Even if you had the money with extra to spare. forgive me for the rant.

jack to lighting never worked for me on airpods max with lighting, i brought and reutrned them the next day, and i own imac m1 that i tested them on, they did not even run. indeed a shame they rushed airpods max they shouldve waited onew more year and add something good to them, but ya nothing , as for aipords i use pro 2 and when pro 3 come out i will get them, since i update my airpods each time, sadly no upg on airpods max 2 so nope i wont buy it just for usb c, and yes airpods pro 2 is certainly close to max, but even with that new h2 chip it still is inferior to airpods max sound quarity and noice canceling, the only area it wins at is dolby and spacial audio.

I think AirPods Max at that price point would be compelling IF they could handle Lossless, while doing that over Wireless may not be feasible in most applications (pro 2 can handle some lossless next to the AVP) but a wired lossless option would be be great Since it doesn’t it makes other brands like Sony, Bose and Sennheiser a much better choice, if they could fix that (maybe Lossless over Airplay? Over UWB even?!?) the. It would be a great buy

I had the AirPods Max and, living in a muggy, moldy shithole like Florida, the condensation starts to build up within minutes. After 10 minutes of listening, I pulled them off for shiggles, and I could run my finger through it. I’d rather just use the WH-1000XM5 for over the ear purposes.

I got tired of waiting for the Airpod Max to come down in price and got into HiFi audio earbuds and headphones. The HiFi audio sounds better than the Airpod max. Recommnend Focal and Bower and Wilkins audio devices. I also moved on from iPhone music to Digital Audio Players like the HiBy R6iii. And these are the low end of the HiFi experience.

I just bought a $20 case off Amazon and end of issue. The onlu thing I didnt like was having to buy the proprietary cable to allow you to plug into a headphone jack I have ZERO issues with my MAX.
