I was just looking this up a couple days ago. Can’t believe they don’t allow wired audio. It’s type c to type c. Like if apple really wanted to treat us they could slip a dac in there. But not even giving us type c to type c audio streaming is pretty bonkers to me.

I’m glad I decided not to upgrade to the usbc version. I shilled out to Apple and got the lightning to 3.5mm adapter and there is a noticeable difference in quality if you really pay attention. Also great to know I can use my Apm on flights to watch movies.

yes, imo 1st gen is a better value, since you can get them way cheaper than v2 and they really haven't changed much besides having usb-c charging instead of lightning

thats why im not gonna buy it, i like the headphone but not interested only on bluetooth. Also doesn’t fold so it’s a biggie for me. I think Bose QC Ultra is the best.

QC Ultra has the same issue as far as wired goes. Without the headphone being powered, it does not work and I had to return it

@@rajutvs you can get Bose QC 45. With that you can listen without turning it on. I don’t know man tech product instead of getting better adding more feature and removing old ones. I don’t know why they remove it.

You keep asking for a USB-C to 3.5mm cable, but do you even have any evidence that the USB-C port on AirPods Max 2 even outputs an audio signal? It might be routed directly into the battery, in which case a cable won't matter.

Actually I waited for the Mk2 version only because I assumed that they were able to being used with a decent audio cable and compatible with lossless audio. Neither is possible. How PRO they are!
