Make sure the sound is active in the find my settings. Have you dropped them before? That could cause the sound to stop working if it was working at one point.

Are my AirPods Pro 2 broken guys? I got these day one and now. When I switch to transparency it stays on noise cancelation. Adaptive is noise canceling and noise canceling is noise canceling. I’ve tried factory resetting them so many times. Removed them from my Bluetooth devices and reconnected and still nothing. Can anyone help me?

Adaptive will use both noise cancellation and transparency based on your surroundings. That could be why your pods are switching to ANC.

Yes, the pods themselves will stay charged while in the case. This will cause the case battery life to lower and be recharged days later.

How do I update them?

Make sure they’re connected to your iPhone. Charge them and the case to 100%. As long as they’re in range of your phone, they’ll update.

Make sure your pods are in the case with the case closed. Make sure they're charged up and are connected to your iPhone. They should update soon.

Or try to listen to music for 2 minutes, then put the airpods back in the case and leave them close together for 30 minutes. You can also try hooking the airpods to the macbook pro and leaving the case open, buds in the case for 30 mins also.

Yea until apple makes a way to update the airpods just like the software on the phone and MacBook and iPad that's the only way to update the airpods for now.

I’d make sure they’re updated to the latest software and then if that doesn’t help, unpair and repair them to your iPhone before contacting Apple for support.

@@viasjeanss try disconnecting your buds from the phone which would include forgetting the device. Then repair them and see if that works.
