When I first heard this soundtrack it was very surprising; there are plenty of simulation games that have genuinely good music, but they're usually more relaxed and subdued. The strong melodies and using a large varierty of real instruments sets it apart from what you normally hear. It also helps that literally every track is great, there aren't any real filler songs. This is music i've returned to quite often and sadly any time I recommend it, it usually falls on deaf ears because of the type of game it is.
