Here's some specials/gimmick that I think would work for when Monty Mole burrows to the battlefield - Neutral B: Wrench Throw (throws a wrench forward at a speed similar to Megaman's sawblade and covers about 7/8 of battlefield, temporarily brings you to surface when trying to throw when burrowed) [references rocky wrenches] - Side B: Drill Run (pulls out a drill and dashes forward about the distance of Banjo and Kazooie's wonderwing but if used in the air will send you into freefall, while burrowed this still acts like a dash but doesn't deal damage) [references how members of the Monty Mole family usually like to dig underground and also slightly referencing the drill pod from Bowser's Inside Story - Up B: Cannon shot (jump in a cannon and get shot out at high speeds and then sends you into freefall, shoots you out of the ground a fair distance when used while burrowed and while shooting out of the ground you wont go into freefall) [referencing the fact that Monty Moles are seen driving heavy artillery machines like tanks and presumably the airships] - Down B1: Burrow (dig into the ground and dig about, there will be a dirt mound over where you are which acts as your hitbox, you can use your specials while burrowed, when burrowed this becomes Emerge) [referencing the fact that most members of the Monty Mole family burrow into the ground and emerge when Mario is near plus also the fact that moles burrow into the ground] - Down B2: Emerge (Jump out of the ground to surprise your opponent, when out of the ground this becomes Burrow) [same as Down B1]

I learned they can take 30 pounds of dirt, so for the up smash he digs the ground (which won't cause stage damage like steves B, and takes all of that 30 pound dirt launched in the air as he digs. D smash: Not a gopher move, but he takes his feet and arms low to the ground and spreads him self how to cause his legs and arms and a small dirt pile Grab: Grabs you and burys you under ground Pummel: Stomps on the ground F throw: Takes you out of the ground and launch you U throw: Goes into ground, underneath to attack B throw: F throw but the other way D throw: Your already in the ground, nothing happens you just get attacked by nothing into a small distant in the air Gimmicks: EVERY SINGLE TIME I MENTIONED DIRT or GROUND causes a dirt particle, when another dirt particle touches another dirt particle, it grows, and grows and grows, making a huge pile of dirt, the max is a battlefield platform, + samus tall, and the sides are about a platform and a bowser jr.! All of these particles are only like walls when around 7 particles hit, these particles you can't just ram through, you need a fist. Basically, when the particle hits another particle, it becomes solid and can't move unless you break it. It all acts like a wall and can cause the stage to have a lot of things happening, the hitbox of the particle hitting another is kinda small, until you make it grow, maybe try and stay in place and spam a dirt/ground move so it mostly goes to the same place. The dirt pile just sits acting like a wall and cannot be grabbed, heck even for spiking opponents off stage. The dirt pile can be broken, but that will send the particles flying around, either off stage or somewhere else on the stage. The particles moving do not do damage to you or do contact, it just goes through you until it hits more particles of dirt. Any questions? The rest of these moves dont do anything to players, but to the dirt pile, except B B: Down B info Side B: Moves the dirt pile around, depending on its size its heavier or lighter meaning it can be moved at different speeds Up B: Summons the dirt pile underneath him, which then sits, having an option to jump. Other options? Breaking it, doing freaking nothing, however it does get rid of part of the dirt pile you made, if you dont have a dirt pile, good luck ;) Down B: He can take apart the dirt pile and bites it, he can have up to four chomps, to place it down, B! It can be used to spike or make another dirt pile, but breaks down the other pile. FS: just a hoard of moles, like yoshi's FS Etc. Alts. 1. Normal monty mole 2. A gopher which has a slightly more yellow look 3. Rocky wrench mole, this does not effect any moves, and it does keep the iron plate thing on 4. A gopher colored like monty mole 5. Its opposite day, alt 4, now its my turn! 6. Yo, monty lookin' fresh, Mega mole 7. Yoshi's crafted world monty moles 8. Rocky wrench from Super Mario bros. 3, they seemed to have a black shell with the iron plate Victory animations: 1. Monty is in bowsers castle, see's bowser walk over the bridge to defeat mario, seems like monty was there all along, smacking the axe and watch bowser slowly fall into the lava 2. Pats his lil' chubby belly 3. Has a wall, mario jumping around, as soon as mario jumped, monty grabbed him, and dug him into the stone Taunts: 1. Pats dat belly 2. Finds a worm on the floor and eats it 3. Insert wadawhaHAWha sounds, why do monty moles sound like that and does a backflip Oh also: I just wanna make it clear this character when running, he is fast, but he slides a lot I also took inspiration from Rocky wrenches and gophers of some part of this moveset. Get up attacks: Ledge: When grabbing the ledge, he is at the corner of the stage and he pops out to claw that player, this ledge attack is weird cause it sends upwards The floor? Digs into the floor and pops barely any distance back up Did I take it to far?

My opinions on yours: This character isn't really right, it just has a flaw where it isn't much special or gimmick like others, mostly DLC characters are poppin' with gimmicks and playstyles, yours feels like a normal character, without any like difficult thoughts thinking its S-tier - F, its kinda just a character who is there, forgotten, even if many people want them, it gets boring like ridley, he was a fan favorite, everyone wanted him, now that he is in, I barely see anyone play him. TL:DR, it has barely much variety.

D smash: Not a gopher move, but he takes his feet and arms low to the ground and spreads him self how to cause his legs and arms and a small dirt pile Grab: Grabs you and burys you under ground Pummel: Stomps on the ground F throw: Takes you out of the ground and launch you U throw: Goes into ground, underneath to attack B throw: F throw but the other way D throw: Your already in the ground, nothing happens you just get attacked by nothing into a small distant in the air Gimmicks: EVERY SINGLE TIME I MENTIONED DIRT or GROUND causes a dirt particle, when another dirt particle touches another dirt particle, it grows, and grows and grows, making a huge pile of dirt, the max is a battlefield platform, + samus tall, and the sides are about a platform and a bowser jr.! All of these particles are only like walls when around 7 particles hit, these particles you can't just ram through, you need a fist. Basically, when the particle hits another particle, it becomes solid and can't move unless you break it. It all acts like a wall and can cause the stage to have a lot of things happening, the hitbox of the particle hitting another is kinda small, until you make it grow, maybe try and stay in place and spam a dirt/ground move so it mostly goes to the same place. The dirt pile just sits acting like a wall and cannot be grabbed, heck even for spiking opponents off stage. The dirt pile can be broken, but that will send the particles flying around, either off stage or somewhere else on the stage. The particles moving do not do damage to you or do contact, it just goes through you until it hits more particles of dirt. Any questions? The rest of these moves dont do anything to players, but to the dirt pile, except B B: Down B info Side B: Moves the dirt pile around, depending on its size its heavier or lighter meaning it can be moved at different speeds Up B: Summons the dirt pile underneath him, which then sits, having an option to jump. Other options? Breaking it, doing freaking nothing, however it does get rid of part of the dirt pile you made, if you dont have a dirt pile, good luck ;) Down B: He can take apart the dirt pile and bites it, he can have up to four chomps, to place it down, B! It can be used to spike or make another dirt pile, but breaks down the other pile. FS: just a hoard of moles, like yoshi's FS Etc. Alts. 1. Normal monty mole 2. A gopher which has a slightly more yellow look 3. Rocky wrench mole, this does not effect any moves, and it does keep the iron plate thing on 4. A gopher colored like monty mole 5. Finds a worm on the floor and eats it 3. *Insert wadawhaHAWha sounds, why do monty moles sound like that* and does a backflip Oh also: I just wanna make it clear this character when running, he is fast, but he slides a lot I also took inspiration from Rocky wrenches and gophers of some part of this moveset. Get up attacks: Ledge: When grabbing the ledge, he is at the corner of the stage and he pops out to claw that player, this ledge attack is weird cause it sends upwards The floor? Digs into the floor and pops barely any distance back up Is that everything? I haven't made a moveset in a while.
