There is always room for improvement...a few months ago an Israeli F-15's canopy fell off mid flight. Thankfully our pilots are skilled enough to land it like that haha. You can hear the radio calls during the incident on KZbin by the way.

Is the Israeli Air Force the best Air Force in the world? Well ... they could make pretty good case for it. The IAF has a historical kill ratio of over 19:1 - the IAF shot down 578 enemy planes and lost only 30 in air-to-air combat ... that’s not counting the hundreds of Arab an Soviet planes the IAF destroyed on the ground. I would say if they want to call themselves the best air forces in the world, they could make a pretty strong argument.

Actually the IAF like their F-15's which for their PURPOSES are state of the art jets..in other words, they serve a special function for your info...they aren't hand me down junk.
