It is gas. It is made by WE, a company that only manufactures gas guns with the exception of their M4. You can tell it is gas because of it's bolt moving on each shot, the weapon's noticeable shaking and gas escaping from the chamber. If it were an AEG, you would hear the motor spin, gears grind and a faster rate of fire. There are some blowback AEGs, but they do not have as much recoil.

This is a gas gun, so the bb is fired and bolt pushed back by gas, such as green gas, propane, or c02 depending on the gun. No battery is required on gbb guns.

Not really. I wish it was less about blowing up stuff and more about talking of the gun. I'm still an FPSRussia's subscriber thugh, but I prefer Hickok45 for example.

Keep in mind that this gun, just like any other Gbbr, requires high maintenance and is less reliable than a AEG. But for a Gbbr, it seems pretty good.

if you looking for realistic feels, GBBR is the right one. But AEG is less complicated and you can use it whole season (gas will lost its power during cold weather). So if you looking for realistic feeling go for GBBR, but if you choosing WE because its cheap, i would suggest you to buy M4 series because it got more internal parts upgrade.

As the SCAR L rifle's an ambidextrous gun,you can wield her left handed as well.Though it won't be recommended for the real steel version,however(since there's concerns of the ejecting brass casings)....

Hey what's up dude !! I only use ultrair and i never had problem with. I remember a the hangar when you broke the nozzle. I only use ultrair and i lubricate every time after i use a gbbr with aps3 and i never had any problem

great gun i had one for 2 years and it is running great after about a year i bought the evike open bolt kit replaced all the old open bolt parts with the new one i saved over a 100$. What you hear on the gun isn't what it usually sounds im guessing you borrowed this off a friend to shoot and review. I can tell that the hammer inside the gun is getting worn not releasing enough gas you need to buy another one and it will sound much better

That's a good question. WE make very good gbbr. About pistols, it's not the same ! There is not the same fiability. For a hand gun, take marui, one of the best brand.

the Ports/openings on that flashider is there to divert gasses upwards so the barrel is pushed down a bit. on my AS gun i had to put a rubber o-ring between the flashider and barrel to keep i right side up. sorry for trolling :D Love your vds Khanseb.

Suggestion...never use ultrair green gas for your WE Scar, specially when cold weather. I've ruin my nozzle twice, use gas that has lubricant only (never had problem when use abbey predator but less power). Usually the BB loader under the nozzle is freeze (icing) and stuck (bb loader + ice=bigger size and can't fit the gap) in between Magazine and Hopup Chamber, and because it got hard kick (harder if you use steel buffer) the BB loader will break.

pistols usually have a lower FPS so are more suited to cqb as you don't hurt the other guy, plus they are much more maneuverable around corners etc,

Si tu as la chance de tomber sur une réplique qui fonctionne en sortie de boite, à mon avis il faut récupérer un nouveau canon interne, un nouveau hop up et un limitateur de puissance (NPAS ratech ou peut-être un limitateur FG airsoft).

Salut KhanSeb ! je débute dans l'airsoft et je serais interressé par cette réplique, me la conseillerais-tu, sachant que je compte éventuellement en prendre une d'occasion avec le ressort déjà changé (est ce un bon calcul?), on m'a aussi dit que les répliques a gaz étaient un cauchemard en entretien, est-ce sur-évalué? Ton ami t'as t-il parlé d'éventuels problèmes concernant la réplique ou en est il pleinement satisfait (sachant très bien que cela ne veut pas forcément dire grand chose vu les modifs qu'il y a apportées) ? Ce que j'ai lu dans les forums et autres tests semble encourageant mais j'aurais aimé avoir ton avis sachant que je veux être sûr de moi pour cet achat plutôt couteux. Pour la réplique secondaire je pensais a un colt m1911 KWC dont j'ai eu d'exellents échos en plus d'une finition clairement réussie... Sinon aurais tu des conseils pour un débutant? Voila je crois que j'ai fais le tour, j'aimerais juste te dire au passage que ça fait quelque temps que je regarde tes vidéos et que j'apprécie vraiment ton travail, je regrette juste de ne pas voir plus souvent de vidéos de parties mais je conçois que ça ne soit pas forcement aisé d'en tourner. Enfin voila continue et change rien :)
