MattTheMusketeer nice video when you next gonna be at the the jail/goal
@AYoutubeAccountName7 жыл бұрын
MattTheMusketeer would definitely like to see more videos like this, perhaps some things to include are when to switch to your pistol, use of a weapon light (either one that is just on or off or one that you can quickly flash) and how to use and how the enemy may use dimly lit buildings on a mostly outdoor site. Oh and how best to use your team to help you ie using two people or more to push up when suppressed.

A lot of people dont lean around corners to shoot. I see a lot of people revealing their feet before they peak the corner. Sure balance is important but it can get you killed as well. Use Q and E at corners boiiss!
It also helps to change your footing/stance from left foot forward to right foot forward (regular to goofy footed stance) depending on location of the barrier or doorway. This allows for more stability and balance when pieing the room, while at the same time maximizing concealment from interior threats

Tip 1: if you want to have fun, don't try to go for accurate, historical and obsolete loadouts like WWI rifleman.

I once used a blunderbuss my friend somehow found, It was actual god tier but looked ridiculous. Sadly, we lost that beauty, his mom sold it in a yard sale.

Yeah me and my friend made a group and he was trying to make it super serious and accurate
@fanta48974 жыл бұрын
@@tmanoutdoors8277 I mean, it does have it's place. Currently I prefer playing airsoft with historical accurracy (including training, organization, tactics, etc.), but in that I play against similarly armed adversaries. If I were to play against normal players, especially in CQB I'll be at disadvantage even with my loadout which isn't from WWI (I play as WSS rifleman either with K98 or StG44... so it's WWII but it's still more usable even if it's relatively obsolete, it's still more relevant than WWI rifleman).

Really nicely done video and tips! Basically all tips which you covered are drills from my used to military drills. To others, my airsoft gameplays changed radically when I started to use such techniques in airsoft. Keep up the good work Matt!
@andrewwerner21647 жыл бұрын
I like how you addressed that these are not military techniques. While a lot of them do translate over, clearing a room and cornering are quite a bit different. While real steal guys would "bang" (throw a frag/flashbang) a room instead of risking a peek, airsofters can certainly afford to risk a quick look around the corner and see what's going on. Thanks for putting in the time to do this video Matt!!!

prefiring does work but you could also use the "cutting the pie" technique, this would allow you to slowly peek the corner without your enemy seeing you and its also useful so you wont kill an unarmed person, friendly or civilian.

I have a put together a team for Milsim, and we have based around a theme of SEALs. My question is where should we get our weapons and gear, also what we should get. We have a list of Mk18s, HK416s and 417s, a McMillan TAC-338, US Navy P226 sidearms for all of us, a Mk48 LMG, an M240B LMG, and 416 CQB variants. We plan on using Battlestore for gear, but we are lost on weapons. It would be preferred to have suppressors for all weapons except the LMGs, sniper, and P226 handguns. What do you recommend? Price is not too much of an issue.

I know this is an old vid an you’ve probably made adjustments too your tactics, all seems spot on especially about not pressing against the wall, however clearing a room I’d advise inch stepping round a corner and not getting tunnel vision at that range your rifle will fire were you point it which means you have a quicker response to threats else where in the room- ex military of 7 years and 2 tours of afghan

Citizen Mike one trick I used in USPSA pistol match where you had to hold your arms up for one minute or two cuz there were so damn many targets that your shoulders got tired. Say at first you push with your right arm and pull back with your left arm, when your shoulder got tired, you switch to pulling with your right arm and push with your left arm. From other ppl, they don’t see no difference, but it helps you to keep your guns up for LONG TIME

As for the ak users, I prefer to put my mags on the upper posituon in my pouches as moste of the times, especially of you play outside, you can.t just raise your weapon to reload as thia would reveal your position. So I recommend taking your time to reload and play at a slow pace as this would give you more allert time, quicker reflexes and more energy (imagine after a sprint you will also have to acquire and sgoot a head popping up from one area) . Also, if it.s raining outside and you don.t get scared by a bit of water, that is the best moment to attack as everyone is shooting from the cover of rain i.e. buildings(one well placed nade and kaboom). Also, again, dont sprint like navy seals with weapons in the air as you look like a typhoon class submarine with the perriscope rising in calm waters. Too many times i have seen ao many players. Also, rely a lot on superior fire and advancing. A lot of players get scared when you start shooting back and retreat or get back to cover. Keep your superior fire on the target as you advance. Moving from one spot to another without your opponent to see you is a great advantage.

You should move your holster up towards your hip so when you are running it doesn’t feel so awkward having that weight so close to your knee. It looks like you already have the mid ride mount for your holster so it should be able to clear any kit that might be in the way. Awesome video though!

Prefire is DEFFO a good technique, however in most cases you will end up being in a situation where you just overshot the crap out of somebody, and that kind of suck in a sense. The "winning the corner" technique i use it all the time myself. However, what i do different is, I peek again on the same top spot really quickly without my gun up, and pop back in just to confirm the other guys spot so i can take another shot in that direction i just saw him (which is called snapshooting if you actually do it with your gun up to take that cheeky shot and hopefully get the guy). I variate from top angle to lower angle all the time too, I just tend to do the above cause 90% of the times i manage to be faster in my peek that the other guy is shooting out of reflex to get me while preaiming the corner i am in. (if it makes sense xD)
