I have a Crossmen Pulse R-76 AK-74 carbine tht shoots 375 fps for my 18th birthday. It's amazing and I love it because it's all metal and electric and my first gun in forever. Love your videos Scout, they've got me back into airsoft.

hey scout, if you don't want to risk your lens getting hit, try using a UV filter. They don't really change anything about the color, but they do protect the lens

Geez, man, I would love to come out there for some stuff, but in the states, a lot of my gear is just to hot for field spec. I think the only bit I could reliably slow down is my bolt action, but that would be a lot of tooling to be compliant for a vacation. I noticed you guys are using just shooting goggles, though. Many of the fields here are accepting the higher FPS, provided those in game use full seal goggles and face pro'. I take it that hasn't been an issue at S8?

Scout, I'm from Scotland and I'm under 16 but I want to start airsoft. What gun would you recommend? And should I buy online?

You should try to get a feel for the guns you like at a local airsoft shop - and you can ask questions there too and they should help you out. But, if there isn't one nearby then see if you can try someone's gun if you go to a skirmish. Buying online is fine but avoid retailers with 'bb guns' in the name! Some good stores are Patrol Base, Zero One, Airsoft World, Land Warrior Airsoft, JD Airsoft, Pro Airsoft Supplies, Airsoft Supply Drop. Flecktarn.co.uk and UK Tactical are very good websites to buy gear from. A good beginner gun that gets recommended all the time is the G&G Combat Machine M4. Good quality for a starter rifle plus you can upgrade it later internally and externally if you want. Hope this helped, you should join AF-UK (airsoft forums uk) as well so you can ask some questions on there and get to know some more about airsoft and stuff. Oh and if you don't know about UKARA defence and stuff then it would be a good idea to read about that.

There aren't many D. Eagle styled pistols because not many people use them because they're big and bulky and do just as much damage as a regular airsoft pistol.

Would a ICS mp5 sd5 be ideal for woodland.Its meant to be accurate might lack range.I'm getting it with a solid stock so it will fit a large battery type,also I might fit a slightly larger inerbarrel .Advice from experienced players please as this will be my first airsoft gun.I would choose a different gun but I always have loved the mp5!!

I think it must be at least four years now. For me, his entry to Airsoft here in Scotland was one of the best things that could have happened, he changed a lot of things for the better.

To feed ammo into the mag feedone side of the mag is a chamber which holds about 200 BBs the other side is the circular well with the spring which feeds the BBs into the gun. when the Circular well is empty you fill it up by turning a little wheel at the bottom of the mag to feed more BBs from the spare well into the circular feeding well. Hope that helped

You can buy them from airsoft or hunting websites but I think people prefer to make their own. You can buy a concealment vest thing with webbing on and you put vegetation from your local area in so you blend in better rather than a ready made one.
