WE is back with a model that many people have been longing for, the Walther P99! As per the real steel, this pistol features a metal slide on a polymer frame. It also has many unique features, such as an adjustable rear sight, a functional decocker and a functional cocking indicator!
Overall, a cool piece to add to your collection - especially if you're into James Bond!

Muhammad Najmi very true the three versions of the Lugar P08 and the short barrel Walther P38 spring to mind not forgetting the high capa 1911 models and the broom handle Mouser with holster stock. They certainly do very nice versions of the diferant guns.

First, prepare your wallet! Second, will you be using it as a competition pistol or just as a collection piece?

Ah well, needless to say, for a collector's piece, focus on the external aesthetics! Choose a style that you'd like to replicate - usually either the SV Infinity or an STI variant (i.e. DVC) - and try to make sure all the parts make sense with the others. So for example, if your hi capa has an infinity slide, make sure you buy a magwell with an infinity logo and not an STI logo. This becomes a bit tricker when it comes to hammers and thumb rests (but only if you're picky). For competition, I would focus more on short stroking the pistol (using a recoil buffer set) and then getting a steel hammer kit, aftermarket trigger (to your preference), UAC hammer spring set and a few TM original leaf springs to tune and make your trigger pull as light as possible without any malfunctions. Afterwards, you can work on getting a magwell, changing the inner barrel (even though the stock marui one is already quite decent) and lightening up your slide for a faster travel time (i.e. lightweight blowback housing, lightweight recoil spring plug, custom recoil spring). Other parts to consider are optic fiber sights for easier target acquisition, textured anti-slip tape for a better grip, steel parts to increase the weight thus stability, metal slide, aftermarket (steel) frame, aftermarket loading nozzle, aftermarket hop up unit for increased durability...the list goes on and on...!

well I didn't use TM as a base, i used a We Hi Capa Dragon, becuase i fought the half slide of it is lighter. however I have Grips, Shortstroke, magwell and trigger tuning (a little bit) done. Ah, that's actually one of the nicer WE's I've seen, looks clean! For competition, I would recommend to get a TM as the base gun though, as the stock parts tend to be more reliable.

Does the cocking indicator stay in after some shots for you too? Just got one and discovered the blowback is not strong enough to make the cocking indicator go back after 5-10 shots.

How do the internals of this gun compare to that of a WE/Marui Glock? I'm more familiar with Airsoft Glocks, however the P99 has, and will probably always be my favourite pistol, so I am very interested in this piece. I would assume the Slide portion would look a little different due to having a decocker, but what about the hammer and trigger?

From what I remember, the core parts are quite similar, as both pistols have an internal hammer. I think if you just study the explosion chart a bit, you'll be able to figure out all the parts just fine.

Yes, especially since the Walther markings are so prominent and really add detail to the gun. I hope HK3P makes one too!

Hi, I have exactly the same weapon, but if I have an empty magazine, we will not stay in the back position and you don't know what it is? simply, when I shoot the magazine, they shoot it even without bullets, but according to the correct one, the conclusion should remain in the back position, so please advise what stimulus thanks

you should try first to see if your slide stop is working without a magazine. if it is then try a different magazine to see if it's a magazine issue; it could be that the last shot is not getting enough gas to push the slide behind the slide stop or that the magazine stopper is damaged and doesn't push up the slide stop after the last shot.

Unfortunately, I think the amount of aftermarket parts available for this gun is very limited, so there's not that many upgrades out there.
