I have looked at alot of vids on the r hop and tried it before and got nowhere so i gave up on it. Until i came across your videos.U explain it so much easier for anyone to try so much so that i did my first r hop today and it works pretty well i just need to get some m nubs.Thanks for the videos keep up the good work.

Wouldn't you have to measure the nub to fit the window in your barrel? That nub looked way too long for the R-Hop/barrel window it was going to be used with. Or does it just squish into the window and that's what you want? Thanks in advance.

I have an m nub and I was wondering does it have to be the size of the window? my current m nub is bigger than the window and I was wondering if I need to slice it down or of its supposed to be that way. Thanks!

How much different is the elasticity of the m-nub material compared to, say, 50A sorbothane or dense EPDM rubber? I'm asking because i live outside US and i'm having plenty of issues trying to purchase m-nubs from overseas. I actually had two of them lost in mail

As far as I can tell, the m nub I bought from hs5 is made of reddish orange 30 sorbothane

Do i need to remove the ridge on the bucking or just the bump/mound

Both I believe as you can then twist the bucking so that the cut bit isnt on the R hop just so you have the smoothest possible bit over it That what I think anyways :)

I would definitely not recommend a h-nub. You need something with a long contact patch =D

I can't wrap my head around how an rhop works. Wouldn't the shape of the rhop get distorted when the m-nub is pushing down on it? And isn't the shape of the rhop like the most important aspect? if both sides of it are glued down then its only option is to bend inwards when force is applied. I must be missing something

Yes you're right. The patch shape is extremely important. The M-nub is soft, similar to foam and its primary goal is to not allow the rhop too much upward movement when the BB passes rather than applying pressure on the rhop patch itself.

i think the material the car wash uses is a spongy rubbery material what is flexible and soft. you thing that is good idea?

Do you know if the m-nub fits in a ProWin hopup? Or should i just use the maple leaf nub? Since i have a bunch of maple leaf already :p

Great question! The m-nub, in my experience, doesn't add enough positive pressure when first installed in the Prowin. I'd consider using a pink eraser and slowly shaping the nub in order for it to fit properly in the Prowin.

Kilo Two-One Ok, well I did just order the z-kit, m-nub and the installation aid. :P So I will see If I get it to fit in the hopup. Think I need to do a little modification, since the hole in the prowin is a bit smaller then usual hopups.

i would r hop my vsr, if i found a way to flip the damn bucking, its wayy harder than aeg buckings

use the same method, it worked for me you just need a lot of lube. I was using a PDI w hold bucking

But if you flatten a curved hop rubber, you'll have less contact on the bb meaning less force. This mod is a downgrade...
