What really "unlocked" my personal gameplay and got me to improve was when I stopped allowing myself to hold useless angles for too long. Don't waste more than 5-6 seconds watching an angle. Move yourself. Especially if you are engaged in a fight. I would always spend way too long in one spot and would get flanked. You almost have to be unafraid. You can't allow yourself to get pinned because there "might" be somone around the corner. Just move, Gear isn't what makes you good, tactics do

Same thing happened to me. I used to go out and be kinda scared of getting hit (especially because everyone seems like they were really good) so I would stay usually in the back and sit around. One of my friends recently encouraged me to start sprinting off start and keep constantly moving around, and I was basically one of the best players on the field. I got lots of high fives, fist bumps, and pats on the back from almost all the people I got out. Funniest part is I was using all rental equipment.

14:20 One good tip you left out especially for indoor players is to invest in eye protectors with yellow tinted lenses/ anti-glare lenses because having other players flash you with their 300-600+ lumen flashlight especially if they are dicks and use the strobe light feature can really really damage your vision. Thats why I own two different types of eye pros for different environments.

also -- go read an infantry manual and learn some basics. If you're not shooting, you're moving. If you're not moving, you're reloading so you can either shoot more or move to a better place and then shoot some more. Use cover. Work with other people on the field, lay down suppressive fire, watch each other's backs, etc etc etc. One of the neatest things about airsoft is that everyone with an AEG and a hi-cap mag essentially is a SAW gunner so everyone can provide suppressive fire.

About halfway through the video and yeah I can vouch for basically everything so far. The face and eye pro I ran for quite a while wasn't very low profile, didn't breathe well, and just made everything fog up even worse than it would normally in the humid climate I live in. Upgraded to wiley-x low profile goggles with prescription lenses and an ex-fog unit (local-ish company that makes a device that pushes air through tubes into your goggles removing fog) and that alone improved my enjoyment of airsoft immensely. Hard to have fun when you're literally blind and have NO idea what's going on because of really bad fogging. Then I upgraded my gun with a precision barrel, stronger spring, and hop up and that gun is like a fuckin laser beam. I actually hit the things I'm aiming at and getting kills pretty regularly. I still have plenty of things to work on to get better but those two things were huge for me

Totally free stuff - practice weapon handling in the gear you'll wear in the field eg mag changes, changing from left to right handed, shooting practice. Zero your weapon and recheck regularly. Clean your weapon and magazines after use in the field, mags can get crap in them easily enough so strip and clean them it only takes a few minutes. As the man says, carry spare battery, plus ammo, players are always running out mid afternoon where I play. Watch more experienced players and emulate the best guys. Carry water and snacks to keep your energy levels up, professional athletes always do this and I'm certainly don't have as much stamina as they do. Ensure all your kit is secure on your body, pouches properly closed, lanyard for your pistol ( I use para cord, string will do), people are always loosing stuff.

It does make sense! Adding an optic is adding weight! Adding weight is making the replica heavier.. A heavier replica takes more time to ADS/lifting it up. Don't ask me the time it takes longer cause you might not notice it.. But I rather sacrifice ADS for Accuracy. And Optics looks better.. As a Ex-Military out training started with Iron Sights.. Nothing wrong with it (Even in CoD or BF I sometimes prefer Iron Sights till a certain range). But once you get Optics it not only just looks better it is better! You see more and faster then Iron Sights.

Please don't listen to the other guy. Be as secure as possible - airsoft is one of the games were you will meet either the friendliest or the most shittiest persons on the planet. Some of them will use a 1J gun at a low power day, won't use the bang rule or accuse everyone on the field as cheaters. Before buying a gun, buy good secure glasses and face protection. One time I got hit with a BB on my arm and it left som hemorrhage, which is normal, but imagine that energy hitting your nose or eye. Secondly, don't buy to much stuff at once. Go with the basics and then play to see what fits and what you need on the field. For me, I noticed that I like having many mags on me instead of reloading my mags Midgame - thus I invested my money into a vest with loads of pouches, which makes me a bit slower, but that is something you only realize after playing. Get out there and have fun! :)

@thechaddad16098 ай бұрын
@TrueRAIDER21 seems like it's pretty self-evident but I'll elaborate. The bigger you are, the easier you are to hit. Lose weight, get smaller, get hit less The better your fitness, the easier and faster you can move from cover to cover, meaning you get hit less. The better your fitness, less you get fatigued, meaning your shots are more accurate. The better your fitness the less likely you are to get injured. The better your fitness the more likely you will communicate with your team. If you're out of breath, you are less likely to communicate effectively. Shall I go on?

Even if you have good eye pro, or shitty eye pro still, you shouldn’t be bringing your face to the optic, the optic should be coming to your face. Having the right optic height for your eye pro setup is equally as important. You can achieve this with any number or type of optic riser. As far as accuracy goes, most factory guns are usable with the barrel and hop up they have. What you need to do is learn what range your hop up needs to be at for the average engagement distance your weapon is capable of reaching on your field with the proper weight BBs, and sighting your optic to that. Also, a little bit of practice will help you find what distance you need to raise or lower your aim and the windage you need to adjust for. General rule of thumb is the try and use .25s indoors and .28s or higher outdoors. A better barrel and hop will help, but if it doesn’t help YOU then you need to go back to some basics. Some other general tips, do your cardio, communicate with your teammates, stop trying to blind everyone with a flashlight (it gives away your position too), stay hydrated, learn to manipulate your weapon for corners/barriers/off hand shooting and learn your field.

Would like to add #7 tip: COMMUNICATE Airsoft is 99% a team game so communicate, communicate, COMMUNICATE. Don't be a lone wolf. If you see a tango, CALL IT. Say how many and where they are. And what direction that they are heading if they are moving. That way your team can act accordingly. Which kinda leads to tip #8: Teamwork Be willing to work as a team. Even if you happen to be paired up with some randos. It's the players that work as a team that wins the game. Oh, and just to add: a flashlight or laser sight is POINTLESS if you are playing on a field or in the woods. It will get your butt shot quick because you are advertising your location to the whole enemy team. So don't waste your money.
