Schweizer 1-26 around flying close to the ridge

Descent ridge lift after launching from Bishop. Climbed along the ridges north to White Mountain and eventually up to 17,000ft in thermal lift. Flight time was 4.5hrs.

That was fun to watch. I was once upon a time able to fly a ridge at Fremont California, as well as one near Calistoga back in the 70's. It was the thrill of my life to do that. I was renting 1-26 in both areas. Flew 2-33 as well. Neither of those compared to what you were flying in Bishop though! Thanks for posting this.
