Remember: “Excellent is the enemy of good enough”. Strive for “perfect”, but don’t kill yourself trying to get there. Love your episodes, and recommend them to all the other Spartan owners in the Spartan clubs. You and Andy Rawl are excellent sources....even though you own lesser trailers. (Insert smiley emoji).

Sometimes thing just don't go as planned. I'm really glad you showed us the process though.

This is so true. I think my repair turned out looking good!

Thanks for the post. I was thinking of using an english wheel to clean up damage on my 2015 Flying Cloud. Also restoring a 1966 Ambassador. As you probably noticed, there is not a lot of content on YT using an english wheel on Airstream panels. Keep up the good work.

Yea, not a lot. Partially because unless you are simply amazing and polish it afterwards you most likely get track marks. You can see them on the panel I did. It works amazing but on something where the bare metal is the final finish its hard to get it perfect. I will do another video on fixing my banana wraps when I do the underbelly. I have seen some people talk about using one for that and its less of a "visible" thing so less of an issue. Plus I am probably using undercoating on my belly/banana wraps.

Great video again Ian! I'm sorry the panel wouldn't fit back in properly, but at least you tried to fix it and you got plenty of practice on the English wheel. The old Bowlus Road Chief trailers curved panels where bent using English wheels

Yea, all part of the process! I will learn and improve on the wheel and other techniques.

Thanks - I'm thinking of getting one for wraps and end segments on a Sovereign I demo'ed.
