I'm a senior citizen, age 70. Airstream has always intrigued me. Luna reminds me of a tiny house. Only wish a full sized washer, dryer, & refrigerator could be fit in one. I'd go for a single bed for myself & have some hanging clothes. Love the wooden counter top & super king size guest sleeper/dining table. I'd need a ramp due to health issues. This is just tooooo sweet. Wish ya'll a happy life in Luna. 'Happy trails to you.'

Hi Guys! First off, your remodel is absolutely gorgeous! I spent my high school years' summers in an Airstream on Catawba peninsula near Sandusky, Ohio. I loved it and my folks traveled in an airstream for many years too. The only thing they said that no one told them was that if one is towing an airstream over the toads for traveling, one needs to add a rivet gun and some clear caulking compound, like the silicone one they have now, and a caulking gun to one's tools because the rivets in the aluminum skin will work loose over time and at the most inopportune moments. My dad used to check the rivets at every stop which kept their unit dry and cozy. He also had installed a set of hydraulic leveling jacks so that he could stand at the tongue of the Airstream and by watching his level readouts add to or let loose some compressed air to hydraulically level the coach. In the 1960's, this was a whole new ball game for most of his fellow Wally Byam club members! (Dad was trained to be a pretty good machininst and was also an industrial oil salesman so he could make those jacks work like a magician! LOL I pray you guy have as much fun with Luna as my folks did with their coach which I think they called "Coffee Grinder" after my mom's penchant for grinding her coffee fresh for every pot ~~ something I notice y'all like to do too (so do I when I make a full pot.) Really liked the counter space & for not having top cabinet space, still seemed to have enough storage space. Loved the huge bed idea with lots of windows & bathroom is probably one of my faves! The tile, seat, & top plexiglass idea was great! Totally love the living room/guest bedding use, as well as, the deep kitchen sink.

I love the other tiny homes too. They are SO cute! We chose an Airstream because it's easier to travel with. If we were staying put then other options would be great. I even love Earthships. They are so cool!

Watched this riveted, carefully observing every detail. She seems so efficiently laid out, with spaces tightly controlled yet overlapping in use so as to create a sense of commodiousness. I'm a former architecture major and I'm just astounded at the attention to function in this design. I will be happy with any video showing basic daily life in Luna, so TFP : )

My boyfriend and I are starting our Airstream Renovation journey now, and this is so inspiring to us. Makes us SO excited (and also slightly intimidated by the work we have cut out for us)! Would love to pick your brain and hear more about your thinking for the design of the trailer! What length Airstream is this? Any specific advice for what to look for when purchasing our trailer, so that we avoid the extra work you guys ran into? Did you ever consider moving the kitchen to the front? Was it difficult to find furniture/materials to use that were light enough to make sure you could still haul the trailer? ....I'm interrogating you, sorry!! PS your bathroom is perfection. your floors are PERFECTION. and the copper is.....LITERALLY everything. I want to steal your style!!!!

Love the reno. Very beautiful, spacious and clean! Just wanted to say you made a fantastic choice with the Tuff&Needle mattress. I have been using a queen size in my home for almost a year now and it is WONDERFUL. You can't tell where I sleep. Holds its shape. Soft but very supportive. AND they ship it to you compressed and rolled in a box to your door. No box spring required. I can't say enough good about this mattress. If you are thinking about a new mattress you should check them out! No I am not affiliated with the company. I just love the mattress. Happy Trails!

This is absolutely beautiful, Kristen and Siya! I'm a HUGE tiny house fan living in Ontario too, and I'd love to know more about where you will park Luna and how legislation allows it. Looks great and fitted in a very personalized way. I’m a purest myself. I would have preferred refurbishment to the original form. The only thing left inside that feels like an Airstream is the ceiling shape. But, that’s just my need to restore the past!

How is the tile and grout holding up? Do you move her much? We are renovating an Airstream also, but have taken it down to a completely bare chassis, so we could deal with all the rust, plumbing and insulation. Very similar unit to yours, so seeing this was helpful. Love the window to the bedroom from the bathroom.
