I have one in my car. In my job I have to park in towns, cities that I’ve never been to before and it’s easy to get lost and/or forget where I’ve parked. AirTag has saved my ass numerous times and taken me straight to my car.

my concern is putting on something to know where it is if its stollen but it notifies apple users about its presence

Only you can track the air tag if you register it on your phone.

@@JMWexperience they allegedly added an anti stalking feature, your iphone will notify you if an airtag that is not yours follows you around.

The battery in mine lasted 1 year, the batteries are dirt cheap. I am very happy with mine.
