It is the DUTY on the part of AIRTEL to inform their customer well in advance on any issues of their SIM. It is called "QUALITY OF SERVICE", unfortunately many Indian Companies do not believe in QUALITY, instead Quantity & profit. Earlier BSNL was doing such service, its end result is visible on BSNL all over the country. If this is the practice from the side of Airtel, I will switch over to another provider without hesitation.

This happens in my family member after visiting abroad for short period (1Year). Pl suggest how the SIM card owner will authenticate biomatric KYC. Otherwise in this case Passport details or visa number etc. also do the KYC work. Upgrade SIM should be posted/Courier to sim holder.

Airtel has deleted my sim in 2 days after sending me 3 messages. Since i do not stay in the sim karnataka circle i had to visit the karnataka circle 2 times in a period of 7 days to get it activated. But now the recharge balance of 1 year has just disappeared from the new sim (which i had on the old sim). This is total bullshit and fraud on part of Airtel. I feel they should call you and let you know and give more advance notification
