I made this episode a few weeks ago before Wildcat's Revenge was announced and I wasnt thinking about it when I compiled this data, so if you're curious, these are Wildcat's stats: Ride time: 49 seconds (last place) Drop: 85.2 ft (10th of 14) Speed: 50 mph (T-10th of 14) Length: 2380 ft (13th of 14) Pacing: 48.6 ft/s (5th of 14)

I'm getting season passes to Hershey this year (only an hour from my house) just because of Wildcats Revenge. I still vividly remember my one and only ride on Steel Vengeance. It was the single greatest ride of my life...hands down. And it's still the only RMC I've ever been on. So pumped for WR. What about a top 10 of old woodies that NEED the RMC treatment? Seeing these 90's woodies getting converted reminds me a lot of the ballparks. In the 60's and 70's them multipurpose/sport cookie cutter stadiums were everywhere and they seemed one in the same; then a revolution hit and them mid ball parks left and a revolution of retro-moderns were born, and in the coaster world, RMC is that revolutionary.

I’ll admit, I’ve never ridden roar at SF America, and have a very Special place in my heart for Roar at DK, but I remember it on its last day, and I still loved it, Marathoned it all day and had nothing but fun. Might have been a little rickety, but it was an early GCI, it was operated at a Six Flags park, but it also had to its advantage, operated millennium flyer trains all throughout its life. I will bet any amount of money right now the PTC trains in Maryland have contributed to its roughness.

Steel Vengeance really changed how my visits to Cedar Point went. Lol. I used to try and hit every major coaster, but avoid Mean Streak until the end if necessary just in case I ran out of time. Now with Dragster MIA, instead of rounding Dragster, to Millennium, to Maverick, my route is Steel Vengeance to Maverick to Millennium. Round off with the zero-line Rougarou and zero-line Magnum... I still can't really bring myself to walking back to the front of the park for the B&M trio when I can just walk back to Steel Vengeance a second time. 👀

The rattler at SFOT was rough but a really fun ride. Your whole body would still be vibrating from how much it rattled along the track at the end. Iron Rattlers only bad part is the end, it’s a little too short IMO and I think it shows they could have done a little more with it judging by the power you have hitting the end brakes.

I'm surprised that 50 seconds would be last place, considering that's a very good duration for prime ride time. But that also speaks to the bad pacing of many of these rides. I expected Rattler to be at the top in duration, because I remember how that torture device seemed like it was never going to end. It was so terrible, and that long helix was brutal. I did get one ride on Mean Streak, but it didn't seem as long because it wasn't too bad (but quite forgettable).

If anyone cares: "hakugei" means "white whale". Not sure if this is necessarily true, but I'm told one of the stipulations for RMC was to maintain the iconic white structure of the original ride (not that they wouldn't have wanted to anyway). They not only did that, but made it even more distinct and appealing by adding the blue track.

What’s your favorite Six Flags park? Mine is Fiesta Texas. I am lucky enough to be able to visit every Six Flags park, and I have only had one bad visit to Fiesta Texas. This was my most recent visit during fright fest, the rides were running better then ever and the Kori crawl was now a kori sprint! The Iron Rattler was flying. I have Magic mountain in my second and Great Adventure and Great America tied for third. Great Adventure has El Toro and Kingda Ka. El Toro is my number 3 overall coaster and Kingda ka is just insane. El Toro carries great adventure for sure. Great America has a more well rounded ride lineup but none are in my list of incredible rides, Goliath has its moments but it is too short and everything else it just depends on the day. That’s why I like Fiesta Texas, it’s almost always consistent.

Hi airtime thrills I'm going to six flags magic mountain in a few days and was wondering if you have any tips for how to avoid lines and get on everything. I was also wondering what would be the best first rides as warmups as I've ridden small stuff like flight deck at Canadas wonderland but couldn't get myself on behemoth because I'm slightly afraid of heights. Good video as always and thank you for putting in the time for videos like this.

If you want to avoid lines but still start small I'd go to West Coast Racers first. Even with Wonder Woman there it seems like WCR still gets a worse line

I'm still confused how Robin Hood and especially Untamed manage to have so much speed by the end of the layout, since they're not that tall but quite long. Untamed feels like it never loses its top speed, despite the length of the track compared to its height

@@AirtimeThrills Maybe find any onride footage (outside of TPR) that have the lights turned on or filmed in low light mode. Otherwise, make it a rule not to count enclosed/indoor coasters at all due to the footage

Rattlers drop would be first if they didn’t modify it. Had they not modify it the height would be around 170-180 feet
