Great job, like how you work so well with your instructors and have no ego issues. You’ll be an excellent ag pilot and teacher.

Awesome video!!! I am 16, from northern MN and have solo’d, I have been recently looking at becoming an ag pilot, I want to know if It is hard to get into, and if it is the right thing for me. I would appreciate any tips or info on becoming an ag pilot. 👍

Jacob Hasbargen I’m 19 and I’m about to finish my private, after covid I’m going back to college to get my commercial and instrument ratings to help me fly crop dusting.

IFR looks really scary. I would put an attitude indicator in it for emergencies. When you get your air tractor, consider putting a bom on it by levil aviation. It's fairly priced and connects to your ipad and has all the instrements in the six pack and aoa.

No requirement to use flaps doing your climbing turns if you fly a THRUSH AIRCRAFT 🤣

Yeah, he’s a pilot, but how’s he supposed to get to class, drive around for dinner and everything else. Cut him some slack. Even though you’d fly in and try to bum a ride off of people that drove 10 hours to get to class.

My roommate from Crookston flew for Wilber Ellis crashed couple years ago flying into some fog in North Dakota. At-502. RIP John Goerger. “Dillinger”. Best stick I ever knew.

What a long drive! Would be nice to take the company 182 or even Super Cub (if they have one). So funny when us flying people end up “ground pounding”. I’m not an AG pilot, I fly a Cessna 340 corporate aircraft for a Helicopter company. Enjoy watching the differences between a day in your office and a day in mine! Thanks for sharing.

It was great in North Platte! Hit up a bunch of local restaurants and of course Runza. The only scary part was when I came down from South Dakota into Arnold. Not much civilization around there 😂

Is there still a high demand for AG pilots?
@Blackperson18924 жыл бұрын

@valleyagpilot12834 жыл бұрын
I would say there’s still a demand for more pilots but it will be interesting to see with a lot ATP pilots out of work now if some of them will get into Ag

Valley Ag Pilot Thanks for another response!! I’m working on my ticket right now. My father and I own a 1948 North American Navion. Love the old bird with all my heart. Just doesn’t go fast enough for me lol. I’m currently an triple cert first responder in Texas. Fireman, policemen, & paramedic. I’ve reached 10 years in my first responding carrier. I’ve been ready for a career change for some time now. I’ve been around aviation my entire life. Becoming an agricultural aerial applicator would be like winning the lottery!! Would you be willing to stay in contact with me via email or social media? I have numerous questions the internet just can’t answer. Thanks again brotha
