AirTran 737 landing in Boston

An AirTran Airways Boeing 737-700 lands in Boston after a pleasant flight from Atlanta in June of 2010. Starting out over Boston Harbor, we see some of the Harbor Islands before skimming the rooftops in Winthrop and touching down at Logan Airport, witnessing a great sun backed view of downtown Boston.

Awesome landing! Wouldve been neater if you caught the thrust reversers in operation. But very cool landing. Hmm, wonder how much one of those houses under the flight path go for.... Also had a good laugh for the pilot correcting himself on the time!

The house prices under the flight path are between 300-550k. But with million dollar views of the Boston skyline - you get over the noise of the planes. Heck the noise is way better than it was 20 or so years ago - engines have come along way to sound reduction. Gone are the screaching turbines of 707's, DC10's and L1011's (well except for fedex/ups that still use the latter two).
