The 47000 series low profile Coleman Mach A/C now has a Bluetooth feature that I'm thrilled to have followed the instructions from this video. The paper instructions don't help especially since they printed them upside down on paper and right side up on others. Very confusing unless you study this video instruction. I agree the power feed needs to be a little longer however the slack to pull from the ceiling unit. A few tips: 1. Remove the control panel rear cover plate so you have access to the circuits inside. 2. Wait to attach the power until after all the wire leads inside the control box are done. 3. Remove both long ceiling frame mount bolts so you can insert the control box from the driver's side first - they get in the way of mounting the control box 4. make the electrical power line connections after pushing the one-way plastic fitting for the Romex wire 5. Use wire nuts then push the wire carefully into the designated space inside the control panel 6. Attach the backplate to the control box 7. Attach the green harness to the control box and the probe before trying to put this box up in the ceiling. 8. Locate the two existing bolts and use the spring clips to secure (press the wings down to make the screw hole smaller so it will bite onto two bolts. Follow the rest of the video to complete this task. Definitely read up first and take your time, you will need a headlamp to see this project. If you don't follow warnings you could run into serious issues. This is not a project for the novice.

Thanks for a great video! This made install much easier. The printed instructions were a bit lacking. This was a great upgrade and highly recommend it.

The video instructions are great and very accurate. The issues I ran into were; 1)The romex cable was almost too short and made it very difficult to get it into the opening. 2) there were no mounting screws to hang the box on, I had to take the outer cover and the inner cover off in order to put in screws. 3) the double stick tape comes odd when I tried to peel the backing, had to be real careful. It took 2 days but finally got it installed. It would have been a lot harder figuring it out on my own.

Are you concerned about whether the app is going to be compatible with your phone or tablet five or ten years from now? Very few apps have that level of continuity over time. Instead, companies more frequently come out with a new product, trashing the old customers. I avoid gadgets exactly for that reason.

Installed one this past weekend. Couple of things I ran into: main power for control box was not long enough to mount on studs. I had to let the edges rest on the long through bolts that hold the unit to the camper. The plastic panel doesn't sit flush on the ceiling I think the plastic panel above it was made a little too large on one corner. I did not have to swap the metal bracket, through bolts, or duct skirting I simply reused the old one. The temperature appears to be off by 3-5 degrees compared to another thermostat I have in the camper. Overall, to get the auto fan function this is entirely worth it.

Dometic top to Coleman Mach 3 bottom Bluetooth. It does work, but you have to purchase the separate wiring harness which I found on Amazon for $143. Ridiculous price but it does work. So I’ve got about $450 into this whole Bluetooth set up just so my air conditioner fan will not constantly run all day while our dog is inside or while we are sleeping. It is nice to have it turn off and turn on like a regular home, but I’m not sure why don’t medic or any of these other manufacturers. Don’t just put that in the system when the trailers new.it’s pretty stupid that you have to go through this expense and time to make this happen. But it does work on Dominic as long as you have that harness.

I’m trying to add this item to my current 2021 travel trailer that has a dometic air conditioner unit on it. But the wiring harnesses don’t match up. Do I need an adapter wiring harness? I found one on Amazon for $143 and it’s a dometic product that it says it’s for a Coleman. I’m assuming this will work?any help would be great

Did you find an answer to your question yet? I’m in the process of adding this same unit to my domestic air conditioner and I am running into the problem of the wire harness not fitting. I’m thinking of purchasing a aftermarket wiring harness for $143 on Amazon. Hopefully it works. If you have any other suggestions or information you think I might need before I continue with my Insulation, let me know. I’ve already got almost the entire thing installed, but again, the wiring harness didn’t fit.

Because of a policy change from Google, our domestic BT App, ‘RV Climate’ is not available in Google Play Store for the time being. ICM is working with Google to fix the issue.
