सलाह: देशी बीज वाले पौधों में कीड़े कम लगते हैं इसलिए दुकान से पैकेट वाले हाइब्रिड बीज लेने के बजाय गांव में किसी घर से देशी बीज खरीदें। क्योंकि लाखों वर्षों से भारत के वातावरण में रहने से कीड़ों से लड़ना सीख गए हैं देशी बीज। हाइब्रिड बीज नए नस्ल हैं वो भारत के वातावरण और कीड़ों के अनुकूल नहीं हैं अतः जल्दी बीमार हो जाते हैं जैसे देशी गाय कचरा खाकर भी जी लेती है जर्सी बहुत बीमार होती है और इसका दूध भी बीमारी लाता है, हाइब्रिड मुर्गी बार बार बीमार होती है जबकि देशी मुर्गी नाली में घुसकर कीड़े खाकर भी स्वस्थ रहती है। देशी बीज लगाओ फसल स्वस्थ रहेगी और इसके फल सब्जी खाओ आप भी स्वस्थ और मजबूत रहोगे।
