I loss my dear sister 2 years ago from colon cancer at the age of 56. She was laying down when she called me into the room. She said to me, I will always be with you wherever you go. I thought she was leaving me. She never looked at me when she said it. I was holding back my tears because I didn't wanted her to hear me cry. I believe She saw God and she wanted me to know that she's going to be alright and she don't wanted me to worry. I missed her everyday. But, like she said, she will always be with me wherever I go. I lost 5 family members. This prepared me and made me realize that we all are passing through. When it's my time to go, I'm ready.

I am still grieving, more so because I felt like she could survived it if there was no delay by the Kelowna hospital for the next treatment. I also miss her desperately. The only relief is that I know she will be There (and my mom) when it is my turn, to hold me tight and I will see her again and we will be together forever. Losing her was so heartbreaking.

I work as palliative care nurse and for me is absolutely beautiful job with all aspects. I help people who were actively dying and because I used to work nights shift I did have the time to sit beside them, trying to reassure them that I love them and everything is going to be ok and respect they spirituality and follow what’s important to that person. After they passing I use to place a holly cross on they chest ( if that was applicable to that patient believe) and say a prayer and ask them to watch me while on my journey of eternal life. I felt very privileged to be a part of somebody life in that very fragile time. However you may not believe me but I had two people who visit me in my dreams and thanks to me for everything I did for them while they own family wasn’t present for any reason ( couldn’t handle mentally or past issues, trauma or?) and I have experienced my own NDE myself and I was in heaven but before that I saw two angels in pink dress and crystal wings swinging on the tree swing in opposite direction. The feelings that are induced at the time of death is the loss of our ego and often results in a certain amount of wisdom, love, lack of fear etc... She went full term, memories are unclear, I do remember being with my mother though, and she was definitely under quite a bit of stress. Don’t know if that was past down to me, but I went into a couple of foster care sites, but one stood out. I was a accident prone kid, and I climbed of a staircase railing on the second floor, and the rest played out like a movie, I was in and out of consciousness, they gave me smelling salts 2-3 times. I heard the sirens, and I heard the medics talking, I was only 18 months old, I definitely had a head injury, and had knee injury. I remember seeing tall beings of blue light, I could also hear and understand what they were saying too, but I never talked back to them. It was definitely strange, the only reason why I remembered this, is because I had a some real bad gout in my knee and ankle a year in a half ago, and that’s what triggered those memories, now I remember it like it was yesterday. It wasn’t no fun, I has nightmares shortly after I got adopted out, I has to see a psychiatrist and counselor for a bit, especially when I started having those nightmares, and those were night terrors. I've read about scores of NDE's and so many of them are so similar. Upon reaching heaven, they experience indescribable love and are asked the question: "What have you done"? They are then showed their entire life up until that point and how they have affected others, either for good or bad. They are told that they have to return, which most don't want to do at all, and to love other people to the best of their ability. One day we will all have to answer for every idle word we've said to others in this life. At the last supper Jesus said three times I command you that you love one another. Love God & love your neighbor.

We all live in a eternal Realm of life. We , as we speak our Spirits live way before mortality and our spirits will live after this life in eternity. Like the Lord said ,love one another as I have loved you. If we all can live the law we will be better off and learn much faster. Repentance is one of the greatest gifts we have for joy and happiness. Repentance opens the door of Truth. With so many philosophies of man on Earth ,has a conflict of interest of what is real. I have had people trying to start rumors and gossip , why I don't know, it causes confusion and separation from what is real and what is truth. This is why our Lord Jesus Christ give us the gift of the Holy Ghost when we are baptized and cleansed in the blood of Jesus Christ. This Holy Ghost will clear any type of confusion or lie and that is the only purpose of this gift. It is up to each of us to do our own research and ask for understanding and Truth when we pray. When the Holy Ghost speaks you may tremble and feel in your heart a burning type of feeling, also you will have peace of mind. This is separate from any emotion that you may think or may feel. Emotion is different when you hear the whisperings of the Holy Ghost. Remember it is not any type of emotion and you can tell the difference. I don't expect you to believe anything I say because, you are responsible for you. It's up to you to ask God so you can experience this great gift of your own accord. They give us a lot of insight on the other side which is refreshing when death of this Mortal body is used up. It is educational, and helpful. Fear only comes and uncertainties in to the uneducated Mortals. Kind of like taking a test in college, you're uncertain and fear before you take the test, when you get the test results back then you know exactly where you need to study and understand the unknown, only because you want to fix and you want to know the answer. As of now we're all in a probationary..... In our lives. Only to see what we are going to do in this Mortal life with our free agency to do what we want weather good or bad. The more we understand truth the more intelligent we become, we take intelligence with us when we leave this world and we will be better off and further ahead than many.

In my statement I reread down below when I was talking about finding the truth of all things, once we know truth we are much better off and understand many of the mysteries of God. Once you know the truth you can never deny it and it can't be changed. Just to clarify more about truth. When you find truth there is no more uncertainties or doubt. It may leave you with a few more questions. Ask and you will receive, how simple can it be. All you need is a little bit of faith and desire to know with real intent. Just like near-death experience and the scriptures, it's all about Jesus Christ and God. In the Bible the prophets all got to see the beginning and the end of the world. They are all instructed to bring people closer to Christ. Christ is the only way. If you haven't figured it out just yet, you are basically in front of a non-judgment setting when you leave this world. You are the one that gets to see your life review and you judge yourself just like every individual talks about in the near death experience, you are not judged by anyone else but you. There is good and evil and it is your decision how you want to play in mortality and it does matter. You can be a influence to destroy people's lives or bring them happiness even with a loving smile. Like the Lord said in thee scriptures, I'm going to prepare a place for you. Only you go to the place you want to go and there are many mansions or places for you, you will choose one where you fit in. You would think you would never see a preacher a man of God going to join his buddies at a strip club only if you think you fit in there. I believe the preacher setting is in church teaching, how to come closer to Christ.

I am a blind born and the day my mom died, i guess i could fall asleep probably no more than 10 minutes, trying to break my head how to reach home fastest in order to be with my family. I remember that evening I had to work and the dress code was white and I obeyed even though the mourning colour in my culture is black. That particular evening I felt terrible, first, because I couldn't be with her when she was leaving, second because I had to obey some rules at my workplace, just to please others and not go by what I felt that I should wear black. I was worried they might have given her so much pain by doing the resuscitation. All that was going on into my head like a storm and I could hardly sleep. But in those 10 minutes probably that I have dozed off I literally, literally saw her in a warm light, laughing at me and telling me I shouldn't worry because she has no pain. I am a realistic person, I'm not easy to be fooled around, but that thing was as real as I can think of. I just wanted to share this. @ Edwin I’ve been studying them for decades as well; since Moody’s book came out in the 70s. This window into life after life is a game-changer. In my assessment, it’s also a game-changer for organized religion, and not in a way that adherents appreciate. It debunks the entire concept of sin and salvation. Suddenly it seems that we’re all going to the same place, and these “saved” folks are no longer as special as they’d like to believe. There are KZbin channels like Beyond Death that attempt to hijack the NDE experience and try to make a religious experience out of it with claims that support their faith.

She said she rose to the ceiling of the room, and watched the staff vigorously working on her trying to save her life. Her senses and consciousness rose out of the body above the room so she could see everything. Thankfully for me, they were successful in bringing her back. @@theresagaignard1103 Yes, I was reading Carl Jung in my undergraduate Psych Class in the 1970s. During my long life doing incredible things, I found the two most valuable attributes guiding my life was: (1) always keep an open mind (politically, socially, technically, scientifically and intellectually), and (2) to THINK. That is where human advancements are made. Both open the doors to creativity and "thought experiments," and permit you to live in a world of reality rather than perceptions and fantasy parasitically existing off the thoughts and opinions of others (one big group think) as if you have no brain of your own. Especially in Government, there is too much doing and not enough thinking going on. Thinking has been often undervalued, such as "I'm not going to pay employees to think, I'm paying them to do!!!" Paying people to think is often considered a waste of money. Thankfully we have made progress in the business world regarding the value of independent thinking. The Government still has considerable work in this area because policymakers are often stuck in their self-made Ideological quicksand (perpetuated by self-reinforcing group think) that is smothering their ability to think rationally, thus we often have irrational, contradictory, or destructive public policies. Ironically, they will never see this because they can't "see." Thus many feel the growing mess we are in now.

Even if God exists, he need not behave like a human to favour believers and show displeasure over non believers, regardless of their righteousness. Can a good CEO be displeased with you and disregard your talents just because you do not know his name? Modern research on Near Death Experience by Raymond moody, reincarnation memories by Ian Stevenson/Jim trucker and past lives regression by Brian Weiss all independently but coincidentally show that our consciousness survive death, we live many lives and our thoughts and actions matter in the hereafter. @James Palmer2 If you really believe that -- good luck to you. I think the scientific community is drunk on the big bang everything theory. Over the centuries, great scientific theories have lived and died to be replace by other "brilliant" theories of ultimate truth that over time also dies as knowledge grows. Like researchers in the medical community, scientists are trapped in their models of "validation" and scientific methods, and nothing else exists. They will never truly advance until they open their minds to new thoughts, processes, procedures and methods. Twenty and 21st century archeologists, biologists, and DNA specialists have blasted holes in Darwin's theory of evolution -- little matches recent findings. No matter how many probes we send into the Universe, it is too big and vast for us to even begin to understand what's out there both physically and spiritually. The world medical community knew the cause of all ulcers was stress and bad food, and some minor medical exceptions, - end of story. Until a practicing physician turned the entire world medical practicing and research community upside down proving that bacteria was also a major cause. He was ridiculed and blacklisted until his findings were finally validated, but not discovered by using any "scientific method." Scientists love to play within their very limited self-created world of reality, feeding off of each other's research papers, and claim ultimate knowledge, until their self-created theoretical world eventually does not hold up to actual reality, which generates a new theory of ultimate truth.

@@kurtschulten5369 Around 1980 I was basically an atheist. I believed science had the answers. Then one night, without a related health issue, I found myself in the spirit world, and it was very clear that the afterlife exists. My new way of understanding and my old way of believing both operated at the same time, and it was very clear that my new way of understanding represented what is true. Since the above experience I have had many spiritual experiences. I have communicated with spirit beings many times. There have been occasions when they told me about things I had no way to know about, and I was able to verify them later on. I live in California. On three occasions a spirit being told me ahead of time that an earthquake would take place, and on each occasion an earthquake took place. I help earthbound spirits move towards the light. Some of them have a difficult time because they have a hard time bringing themselves to believe that the afterlife exists. The energy of some of these confused nihilistic spirits felt quite unpleasant. Do yourself a favor and try to have an open mind when your time of death arrives. Recently, fall 2021, I discovered NDE's. I have had visions that closely match NDE'S but I was very much alive and awake. I began to have these visions after I was very interested in resolving death and religion, so I was about to ask. "I want to know the truth about God", but changed my mind and asked, "I want to know the truth, no matter what the truth may be". The first vision was what appeared as an infinite space which had an environment of being refreshing and a supportive love. These words do not describe, except as a diary to real life. I just want to add that we are spherical beings with a double layered "defining membrane" and God is so universal as to be best described as a Place.

An account yrs ago, a lady in a hospital looked down at her lifeless body as doctors worked. She rose to see writing while above the top of the roof of the hospital and it said, " Loose lips sink ships." She never physically stepped foot up on the roof at any time. The strange evidence of the NDE is that the Doctors knew about the words on the roof and when she returned, she told Doctors about the words. It was in fact still written there after the event. In spiritual body she saw the words as she passed by it.

@James Palmer2 I've read and watched countless NDEs and am convinced they're real. Just a few reasons why, in my opinion, NDEs are not caused by a hallucination or brain malfunction. How do you explain it when some people who have an NDE are told about their future -- and it comes true? For example, during Dr. Mary Neal's NDE, she was told that her young son would pass away early due to a car accident, which is exactly what happened when he was a teenager. Or, how do you explain those who have an NDE in a hospital and not only can see their friends and loved ones in the waiting room -- they can tell you exactly what they were saying and doing at the time? Or, how about the woman who, during her NDE, rose up out of her body and ascended above the hospital where she happened to notice a blue tennis shoe on the hospital roof -- something that, obviously, could only have been seen by someone above the roof? The shoe being there was later confirmed by a third party. Here's the story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYG7fGWCqJKrsLM

I’ve actually had a NDE experience at 18 months old, I forgot about the trauma that it had on me because I had to, it took quite a bit of counseling for me to forget what happened, I don’t even think my adoptive parents even knew what happened. It was actually to my belief that it was a bad Oman to have had 1. It came back to me when I a round of gout in my knee and ankle, then I remembered what happened like it happened yesterday. This memory I had was a little over a year ago. I suppose as well I’ve also had my spiritual awakening too, and if your not ready for it, that can hit ya like a ton of bricks. I imagine that being you read up on quite a few NDE experiences that not all were glory, glory. I know mine wasn’t, I do remember seeing tall beings of see through bluish light. I also heard word for word what they were saying too, 1 of them distinctly said I was a cute little baby and I wasn’t supposed to be there, it was almost like a surprise to him, the other 2 scared me, I understood what they said and they were wanting to use me for something, I think I lived with it for a while. My ordeal happened in a foster home, even though I survived and I remember going in and out of consciousness, the whole thing played out like a movie. I think I have the answer to what happens though when a person does die though. When a person dies, that persons energy, or soul, or consciousness which ever you want to call it gets released back to the universe, in form of frequency in which time and space doesn’t exist. Basically speaking when anyone dies in this reality, reality changes for the person that dies, their soul goes back to get reborn in the same time frame from which they started from. There’s more to all that too, because it all depends on circumstances on the individual. But, when you think in terms of multiverses or parallel universe some scientists could be correct. When heaven is described as a place to be reunited with loved ones, it’s basically talking about that concept, you die, there’s a veil of forgetfulness when you reborn, some things may or may not look different, and being reborn into the same time frame can experience deja vu as well. Oh, my ordeal I had came from me climbing over a staircase railing and falling onto a hardwood floor, yeah I was accident prone.

All our prayers are also directed towards the well being of every one in the entire cosmos....' Samastha loka sukhino bhavantu' 🙏 Even in Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna very clearly states that the atman ( soul or consciousness ) never dies, it just moves on from one state to the other.... Only to be reborn again or merge with the source 🙏, depending on ones 'karma'.

I never had a life review, I heard God saying many things he had spoken over my life before through prophecies and other experiences. I can tell you I was more conscious and no longer limited by my body which was nice, and in complete perfect love. I was in light. When I came back my spirit felt jarred for a long time. I will tell you, I had a split second when I thought about what God would say about my sin but it was like God had really forgotten. There was zero condemnation.

There is no life after death. Near death and out of body experiences is just the brain going haywire and hallucinating when it is nearly dead as there is NOT enough oxygen getting to the brain when it is shutting down. Hours later if they are NOT revived their soul will no longer function and will go kaput. When you see a dead person (a corpse) their soul is still there with their dead body but it is no longer functioning. NDEs and OBEs is sort of just a last gasp before the soul burns out. However, if the concept of an eternally inflating multiverse is correct then sooner or later an exact remake of your soul would be created from scratch in some future universe somewhere else in the eternally inflating multiverse. Cosmic inflation is where our universe expanded so rapid for a very brief moment of time at the big bang. Inflation only ended in our part of space (our bubble universe) while other regions are still inflating. Once inflation starts, it never ends, producing an infinite number of bubble universes and each bubble universe would have their own big bang event. There are new universes being created all of the time at an ever increasing rate with new big bangs occurring forever. With an infinite number of big bangs repetitions of everything are inevitable. Your exact life you have lived so far and every other possible variation of your life is being lived right now by other exact copies of you living on exact copies of this Earth in other exact copies of our universe. An exact copy of you is NOT you because it has no link of being you. It's a person that has an exact copy of your soul (not your soul), has an exact copy of your consciousness (not your consciousness) and it has an exact copy of your brain (not your brain), absolutely no information is transferred other between copies, there is no intersection between copies, they are created from scratch (not the current you being recycled) they exist independently from you and they will think that they are you. Sorry, lights out and game over when you die. Every NDE experience I’ve read or watched met Jesus and felt enveloped in warmth. Some non believers had NDE in Hell and it was so bad they became pastors for more people to know and learn about Jesus and to have faith in Him and everything is in His timing, not ours. 🙏🏼❤️

Note that NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES ARE RANDOM. The 800 pound gorilla in the room is a simple question: Why do seemingly good people sometimes experience terrifying NDEs, and Mafia-level people get bathed in unconditional love? This has been researched and is known. Some even happen to small kids, some were 6 year olds. 3% of them reported a distressing or "hell"-like experience. How many 6 year olds is your afterlife torturing? Don't try to categorize them into "good people" and "bad people" categories, it's not true. See here: Nancy Bush (IANDS) - "Negative experiences further complicate matters, because THEY HAVE NO DISCERNABLE RELATION TO WHAT KIND OF LIFE a person has lived. In other words, being a good person is no guarantee that you won’t get into a terrible car accident and suddenly find yourself experiencing what feels, in a very real sense, "hellish.”" As Bush has seen, “What we think people deserve has nothing to do with whether they have a glorious experience or a terrible one. Saints have reported extremely disturbing NDEs, while felons have encountered bliss. Although people have sometimes wondered whether good people have pleasurable experiences and bad people have distressing ones, RESEARCH HAS SHOWN NO SUCH RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN APPARENT LIFE DEEDS AND TYPE OF NDE. In spite of the findings of these prior studies, this erroneous stereotype persists. In addition, AMONG PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD MULTIPLE NDEs, SOME HAVE HAD A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE ONE TIME, AND A DISTRESSING EXPERIENCE ANOTHER, IN NO DEFINITE ORDER. NO EVIDENCE supports the conventional assumption that “good” people get pleasant NDEs and “bad” people have distressing ones. THERE IS NO HARD EVIDENCE THAT CHARACTER TRAITS “CAUSE” ANY TYPE OF NDE. The list of character traits that people assume help to create a distressing NDE include: being hostile, cold, repressed, suppressed, unloving, controlling, rigid, sinful, guilt-ridden, non-God-loving, fearful, mean. Although authors, even some researchers, have said those traits are connected to distressing NDEs, no testable evidence has been produced in support; THE LIST IS BASED ON GUESSWORK, ASSUMPTIONS, AND EXPERIENCERS’ SELF ASSESSMENTS (“I think I was unloving”), NOT ON FACTUAL EVIDENCE. By contrast, THERE ARE INDIVIDUALS WITH A PERFECT FIT TO THOSE DESCRIPTIONS WHO HAVE HAD PLEASANT, EVEN BLISSFUL NDEs. Some describe themselves as having been unloving, even hostile, before the NDE. On the other hand, some kindly, friendly, peaceful, religious, loving people have had a really difficult experience. The observable characteristics of a person simply do not match up to the type of NDE. The weakness I find is twofold: first, that people are so often crippled by their fear and guilt about a literal meaning of the NDE as they understand it (punishment, unworthiness, blame) that THEIR LIFE BECOMES DEFORMED. These kinds of experiences can be deeply traumatizing, enough so that reactions like those in PTSD may be commonplace." Nancy Bush (IANDS): "Now...into all this comes Marilyn Mendoza, a Louisiana woman with a PhD in counseling and a curiosity about what it is like to die in prison. She also wondered if the deathbed visions of dying felons might be especially difficult. So far as anyone knows, deathbed visions differ from near-death experiences only in the fact that their experiencers don’t come back afterwards. Otherwise, the descriptions are virtually identical. Mendoza’s findings are therefore applicable to the study of near-death experiences and are reported in the latest issue of the IANDS newsletter. Her study population is housed at Angola, one of the most notorious of U.S. prisons. In her words, “Angola is a maximum security prison that has been called the bloodiest prison in America. It houses 5,000+ men whose crimes range from mu*der, ra*e, and armed robbery to drug offenses. The majority of men who come to Angola die there." “As is common with most people, the experiences the caretakers described were pleasant. The most frequently seen visions were of family members. Caretakers reported that the dying saw mothers, grandmothers, sons, fathers, and other family members. The dying spoke of people waiting for them and calling them to come home. The dying also spoke of angels, beautiful gardens, gates and the Light. The men stared at corners of the room, at the wall and the ceiling. They reached for and called out to the deceased they saw. In other words, the dying prisoners saw and experienced the same things as the general population." "There is not a shred of evidence that good people get good experiences and bad people get bad experiences. The conviction that types of NDEs and deathbed visions are tied to moral qualities and behaviors simply does not hold up."

If you think everyone sees Jesus, you need to expand your parameters. Try starting with non-western stories from Thai people who see lord Yama and Yamatoots, talking dead roosters and turtles, and going to Buddhist "hell" for eating chicken. Then go on to Indian NDE stories where they see Yamraj. Start there, then see what you think.

I died in 2013. Sailing accident. Left this life a fairly conservative former Army officer. Came back completely different. More a follower of Buddhist philosophy. This poem written by Dr Jane Goodall in her book Reason for Hope sums up my NDE. Its easy to die and be delivered to perfect peace. Its hard to choose to come back to a very difficult world. But you come back to help. Because the world needs love. Only They Can Whisper Songs of Hope, by Jane Goodall The world has need of them, those who stand upon the Bridge, Who know the pain in the singing of a bird And the beauty beyond a flower dying: Who have heard the crystal harmony Within the silence of a snow-peaked mountain- For who but they can bring life's meaning To the living dead? Oh, the world needs those standing on the Bridge, For they know how Eternity reaches to earth In the wind that brings music to the leaves Of the forest: in the drops of rain that caress The sleeping life of the desert: in the sunbeams Of the first spring day in an alpine meadow. Only they can blow the dust from the seeing eyes Of those who are blind. Yet pity them! those who stand on the Bridge. For they, having known utter Peace, Are moved by an ancient compassion To reach back to those who cry out From a world which has lost its meaning: A world where the atom-the clay of the Sculptor- Is torn apart, in the name of science, For the destruction of Love. And so they stand there on the Bridge Torn by the anguish of free will: Yearning with unshed tears To go back-to return To the starlight of their beginnings To the utter peace Of the unfleshed spirit. Yet only they can whisper songs of hope To those who struggle, helpless, towards light. Oh, let them not desert us, those on the Bridge, Those who have known Love in the freedom Of the night sky and know the meaning Of the moon's existence beyond Man's fumbling footsteps into space. For they know the Eternal Power That encompasses life's beginnings And gathers up its endings, And lays them, like Joseph's coat, On the never changing, always moving canvas That stretches beyond the Universe And is contained in the eye Of a little frog. Source: Reason for Hope

Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing!I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!!!!!!

I have been reading and watching NDE stories for years and I have never been able to pinpoint or explain why some (very rare) people go to "Hell". I am not religious and do not believe in "Hell" so after watching from 28:00 into this video, the explanation that it could be a place of choice for people has me looking at it in an entirely different perspective and one that makes most sense to me personally. I'm kind of excited by that thought. I've been traumatised by my mother's death in 2017. The nurses told my brother and I that she was screaming out for help as she was dying so the thought that she could possibly even likely be at peace, makes me feel happy for my mum and my own family's eventual journey to the spirit realm.
@down-the-rabbit-hole2 жыл бұрын
I was told that the "rare" occasion when people find themselves in hell is because of their thinking that somehow they deserved it. They say that you create whatever you think about at a rapid rate. But if someone believed at a subconscious level that they deserved to be in hell, that's probably what they would find. But all they have to do is change their thinking, but they have to know that they can do that.
@innerstar65692 жыл бұрын
From a non linear perspective heaven / hell are not places but different state of consciousness. Yeah, it makes sense to me that some souls can experience a type of hellish thing. They need to know that they hold the key to get themselves out of that state. You can tell how we are the ones really running the show.

Hey. I've read NDE stories pretty regularly for a few years and yes the Hell experience is reported by a very small percentage of people. In nearly every case they reported crying out to God, Jesus or reaching a point of utter despair before the tunnel opens up and they are drawn up into the light. There are also a few dozen accounts that mentioned the experiencer being suspended in a pitch black void. Blacker than black, but they recall it somehow not being the least bit frightening and wanting to stay in that pure loving darkness forever. Usually at that point, a tiny pinpoint of light develops and they are eventually drawn into it like a magnet. I've read several thousand nde's on nderf.org over the past 5 years. I was a hardcore atheist but I'm also a truth seeker, and i do believe the vast majority of documented NDEs are honest recollections. I can't imagine why thousands of people would make up stories and fill out a lengthy online questionnaire just to mess with us. They're anonymous too so they aren't gaining any fame from their story.

While “hell” was not encountered by most NDE experience, one needs to factor in why “reincarnation” exist as all life forms on earth “reincarnate”. People ,who remember past lives describe earthly existence as very challenging with pain , suffering on earth are forms of “hell”. Even NDErs describe their returning to human body as like a “prison” . If one reincarnates to a lower non human life form as animal or insect , or reincarnate as a human but as a victim of a crime one committed in previous life as a form of hell. It is not uncommon for criminals to voluntarily choose to reincarnate as victims even though there is no judgement in their “ life review”. There are many levels of consciousness in “heaven”, reincarnate as a disabled person or victim is one way to reach higher levels of consciousness in heaven.

If they go to hell, in most cases if they call for Jesus to save them , he does. Maybe hell is to show you that you are totally dependent on him.

Great interview. I have covered many anecdotes in my book: 'Life After Life- Lifting the Veil on Death.' There are many other issues included in several Chapters of the book. Bhagavad-Gita and two other Upanishdas indicate many details of after life. Needless to say that these scriptures are not religious scriptures. Moreover they describe the reality of after life and about Maya - unreal experience which we get.

“NDA’s” are Real, I had one and I experienced the “White Light”, the feeling of Total Love etc. I wanted to “Cross Over” because it felt So Beautiful. It wasn’t my time yet. I won’t go into detail because most of it is covered in this discussion. What I will say is that, when we look up into the sky on a dark night and see the many stars shining bright, try to think about the possibility that one day, you too will shine as bright as a star in the sky. The many universe could be a representative of the many people who have died. I’m not trying to convince anyone of anything. We all have our own beliefs. When we shed our bodies, our consciousness may remain. Just a little food for thought. I’m wishing Everyone a Blessed Day. Be well.

The doctor has been contradicted numerous times by his own experiences, and so have you: FROM IANDS - "I was hit by a car while riding my motorcycle. I died on the operating table. I went through the dark into the light - a soft bluish light. An entity (Jesus to me) was of the light, and the light was a doorway. I was not in this body, but I was as normal as my body here. We spoke without speaking. Joy was all over me. I was relieved to know it is real! Jesus said, "I know it hurts and I know it is bad. You have not done what you said you would do and must go back." I refused. Jesus said, "You will come here, just not now…not yet. I am sorry." Then I was on the operating table and heard someone say, "We got him” and then "Oh my God he is awake.” I AM NOW AN ORDAINED MINISTER AND I PREACH. I WAS SHOWN THERE IS NO HELL. We all go home." I'll give you another Jesus story...KARIN F.: "She took me and placed me in a crystal-like bed and told me to rest because there were beings who wanted to honor and welcome me. I saw beings cued up to greet me. I spied Jesus among them and immediately felt as though something was wrong. I asked the being who brought me, how it was that Jesus wants to honor me. I told her that I was afraid that putting myself at the same level as Jesus would damn me to hell. SHE LAUGHED AND TOLD ME THERE IS NO HELL. WE ARE ALL EQUAL IN SPIRIT FORM. I believed all that nonsense. I KNOW NOW THERE IS NO HELL, and God is unconditional love. Yes we are all connected and NO ONE IS MORE OR LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE. That our souls are eternal and WE ARE HERE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE. Love is what we are and will be again. I REALIZED THAT WE WERE ON EARTH AS A VACATION FROM ETERNITY AND BLISS. I have no fears. I have a knowing and I feel oneness with all things. Fear actually kills love." And what about this?....Anna M.: "I 'popped' from my body and was met with a bright light. THIS GAVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, and explained I had to return as I had three children to raise. Without words, I was told many mysteries of the world. THERE IS NO HELL, THERE IS JUST EXPERIENCE. NO GOOD OR BAD EITHER! There is only one God! HE LOVES US ALL, NO MATTER WHAT! HE DOES NOT JUDGE. I had been taught wrong by religion! Religion is a farce to keep the masses under control." What do you think?....Nicholas P.: "The Light told me many things, which I choose not to talk of. I was told, 'you have chosen an experience, you wish to live, and it is far from over.' I WAS TOLD THERE IS NO HELL." Or this one? MAC WRIGHT: “Everyone goes to the same place. This includes Billy Graham, Hitler, and Jeffery Dahmer.” Need more? R. MORENO: "I'm Native American and experienced an NDE. I WAS TOLD THERE IS no religion and NO HELL. I was shown many things. It has not been easy being here as I didn't want to come back." I'll keep going....B. ELSWORTH: "But personally, through my own NDE, I remember coming back and as beautiful and shocking to my ego as the experience was, I remember driving in my car and laughing to myself thinking, 'Well I wish I could tell my younger self he's NOT GOING TO HELL, BECAUSE THERE IS NONE!' YOU CAN'T DO ANY WRONG...even (ra*e + mu*der + the hol*caust) in God's perspective, but that's not a license to do crazy stuff, God is just that unconditionally loving. HE CAN'T EVEN FORGIVE YOU, BECAUSE YOU CAN DO NO WRONG. We truly are inseparable from boundless infinite love." What punishment?....William T.: "The one-ness I perceived was what is referred to as God. THE PURPOSE OF OUR PHYSICAL EXISTENCE IN LIFE IS TO PROVIDE EVERY POSSIBLE VARIATION OF ACTION, so a knowledge base can exist. THERE IS NO HELL. THERE IS NO PUNISHMENT FOR WRONG BEHAVIORS, NOR REWARDS FOR RIGHT BEHAVIORS. THERE IS NO JUDICIAL PROCESS. This is why people anguish over 'why would God let that happen?' ALL EXPERIENCE, GOOD, BAD, AND MIXED, IS PART OF OMNISCIENT KNOWLEDGE. No matter how horrible the action and how horrible the experience, ALL EXPERIENCES MUST EXIST TO MAKE UP OMNISCIENT KNOWLEDGE. There isn't a single negative emotion on the other side. There's no need for them." Have another one....A. JOHNSON: "I can tell you one thing for sure, THERE WAS NO JUDGEMENT. THERE WAS NOTHING I HAD EVER DONE THAT WASN'T COMPLETELY FORGIVEN, AND 'FORGIVEN' IN THAT CONTEXT MEANT IT WAS GONE. It did not exist. GOD WASN'T HOLDING ME ACCOUNTABLE FOR THAT, God was loving me right through it, and IT WAS TOTAL AND COMPLETE FORGIVENESS. We dont have to prove ourselves to be loved by God. What I learned on the other side is that THERE'S NO JUDGEMENT ON US, NONE, ZIP, NADA. IN THE OTHER REALM THERE'S NO JUDGEMENT BECAUSE THERE'S NOTHING TO JUDGE. We're all pure unconditional love. THERE'S NO HELL, THERE'S NO PUNISHMENT. When you realize there's nothing to forgive, then there's nothing to punish either." B. MACRELLI: "I too have died and brought back by doctors. In 2009 I was kidnapped and stabbed four times in the chest and died. I didn't feel it and was unaware that I was even stabbed, my spirit left my body and it was the best feeling in the world. Completely free, and you're right, THERE IS NO HELL." Here's another one for you...L. MASON: "I died. Time froze. Met God that appeared as a pure white light. Let me ask questions. Told me I had to return. Pushed me down with a hand on my left. EARTH IS A PLAY PEN. THERE'S NO HELL. WE ARE ALL FORGIVEN WHEN WE DIE. We all are connected when we die. In human bodies that link is very faint. That is the hole we try to fill with money/drugs/addiction." Here you are....JEN F.: "I had an NDE and WAS TOLD HELL IS JUST AN ILLUSION, only love is real. Believe what you must." See this one....AJ: "THERE IS NO HELL. I had my life review, I accepted and understood what was meant to be. I gave God the control and he brought me up again. It wasn't a choice, it's just a feeling that you know is right, but THERE'S NO NEGATIVITY, NO HELL." Well now, look....M.K.: "I was an atheist at this time. I went through a tunnel of light and had quite the Jesus-like experience. When I experienced this pure love, compassion, and all-knowing, THE COMMUNITY I CAME IN CONTACT WITH HAD NO GOOD OR EVIL TO IT. IT WAS A PURE NEUTRAL BLISS, IN WHICH EVERYONE BELONGED, WHETHER THEY WERE ONCE THE MOST VILE AND EVIL HUMAN ON EARTH OR NOT. I'm extremely confident THERE'S NO SUCH PLACE AS HELL, NOR IS THERE ANY JUDGEMENT AWAITING US. We're all a part of it. We all belong." No hell or judgement?...S. BOYD: "On my way, I was shown a room that had a soul in it, and the room was filled with really beautiful golden light. And IT WAS FILLED WITH THIS LOVE, love we don't feel here on earth, IT'S AN ALL ACCEPTING, ALL BEAUTIFUL LOVE. And my impression was this soul was kind of slouched over, and what I was shown was that he had done really bad things on earth, and HIS SOUL WAS BEING CONDITIONED AND GIVEN LOVE AND THEY WERE HELPING HIM get through what he had done. After seeing what I saw in my NDE, WHEN WE DIE WE DON'T GO TO HELL, WE AREN'T JUDGED, and I need to be more accepting of others as well." Continue?....Mark B.: "I was scared to die. Only after what I think was a brief moment, I felt a presence telling me that it was going to be fine. Just let go, everything will be OK. I accepted death. Then I felt this incredible feeling of love and peace that overcame me. There was no pain. It was the most peaceful thing I have ever felt. Some aspects of my Christianity have changed, such as the idea of hell. I NO LONGER BELIEVE HELL, and know that heaven exists and is waiting. I BELIEVE THAT WE ALL GO TO HEAVEN NOW. I just want to go up to terminal patients and tell them that the next life is infinitely better than earth." Now what about this?....Herman V.: "I found myself falling into a black abyss and I knew that I was dead. Then I noticed my rate of fall slowing, and then stopping. I noticed pinpoints of fuzzy light all around me, which gradually came into focus. It was then that I realized that a giant being dressed in a robe of brown, purple, and gold had broken my fall. The greatest awareness that came to me was that THE TEACHINGS OF CHURCHES WHICH FOCUS ON GUILT AND THE NEED FOR SALVATION VIA SOME CHANGE IN BEHAVIOR ARE WRONG. THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT, NO RATING OF ONE'S LIFE, NO PUNISHMENT FOR DEEDS DONE OR NOT DONE, just an overwhelming feeling that one is loved. Many times I'd like to take over the pulpit and tell people what is really on the other side, and that THE GUILT PREACHED BY CHURCHES IS COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE." Pay close attention to this one....Lisa M.: "Suddenly I was feeling completely safe, being enveloped and protected by something I CAN ONLY DESCRIBE AS PURE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. This love was all around me, it was everywhere, but at the same time IT WAS ALSO ME, THE ONE I WAS, MY INNERMOST ESSENCE. When I reached the point of light I found myself in a world of light. Everything in this place was made of, and radiated light. It was beautiful and radiant beyond expression. 'Heaven' would be an adequate description, but I had no religious feeling, AND KNEW THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS A HELL. I knew, without knowing how and why I knew this, THAT THIS WAS THE PLACE WHERE EVERYONE GOT WHEN THEY DIED, REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY WERE AND WHAT THEY HAD DONE DURING THEIR LIVES.

There’s growing evidence that the temporal lobe plays a huge role in creating NDEs. When patients had their brains scanned after an NDE, it was discovered that they had increased levels of temporal lobe activity compared with those in a control group. That could help explain why only a small percentage of people who flat line have NDEs. When Dr. Olaf Blanke implanted electrodes into the brains of patients, HE WAS ABLE TO TRIGGER SUPERNATURAL AND OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCES BY STIMULATING THE TEMPORAL PARIETAL JUNCTION.

Wow! One of the BEST NDE interviews EVER! THANK you for the great questions and Dr. Long for the time and work put into this so that it hopefully CAN become a "mainstream discussion" that would help all of humanity no doubt! I have had several very deep shamanic experiences with Aya and I can attest myself that I 100% know it is NOTHING like an NDE, no matter how much love and in the presence of something awesome and not of this earth I was able to feel, which completely cured me of my depression and helped me heal - at some point my ego wants to come in and say "Well, you were on drugs when you had that experience so is it really real?" And I would LOVE to have an NDE because I know that the NDE would 100% leave me without ANY DOUBT. Now, I have FAITH, but the NDE would give me KNOWLEDGE so I can't wait... I would say that a psychedelic experience in a ceremonial setting CAN (depending on where the person's mind is at during the event) be compared to maybe looking through a keyhole - seeing the rain outside though it, but the NDE is like opening the door and standing in the doorway for a while - and actually getting hit by some raindrops - a totally different experience. And it IS very important that we have this distinction so that we can show to the skeptics some form of "proof" that NDEs are REAL - and are life changing even if we're just the open minded listener.

Many years ago, I think I was about 15 years old, I had a very strange dream. I don't often remember dreams very well but I am aware of some goings on while sleeping but can't remember detail. This particular dream was extremely vivid and involved being visited by my uncle, whom had been dead for almost 9 years, since I was age 6. In the dream we were having a conversation about him being dead. He was dressed in an immaculate dark suit and was very happy, joking about death being nothing to worry about. In part of the dream we were standing by his grave, that I had never visited by the way, and he was pointing at it laughing as if death is entirely overrated...that we take it too seriously. At that point I was woken from my sleep by my father coming into the room. A couple of interesting points are that the grave, which I visited for the first time many years later, looked just as it did in the dream and my cousin told me that her father was buried wearing a dark suit. I am 66 now and have never had any dream like this again..... 'There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy'

You had a visitation, David. Distinctly different than a normal dream. How fortunate for you! How many other dreams from that long ago do you remember so well? My daughter passed 5 years ago from injuries incurred in a sledding accident. Shortly after her passing she appeared vividly, right in front of me in a dream. I asked her “How are you able to manifest yourself like this?” She replied “Through love”. Interesting, since “manifest” is a word that I rarely, if ever used previously, but a word that I now know to be commonly used in spiritual commentary. I’ll never forget it.

Rabbi, Thanks for this interview. Great questions. I am familiar with Dr. Long's research, which I find creditable and always reasonably presented. Indeed, we owe him and others a debt of gratitude. To your question about ancient texts that anticipate NDE reports now, e.g., "a oneness" or overwhelming love, consider not all such insight must come from having had an NDE. Artistic inspiration, creativity, etc. brush up against what the ancients often considered prophetic. I find it plausible that your example ("You will love.") is just such an insight. No NDE required. If you ever have Dr. Long back, I'd love for you to ask about cases in which people who have been clinically dead, with shallow or even un-recallable NDEs, still exhibit life-changing aftereffects. Healing powers, hyper-empathy, changed worldview, etc. Can certain drugs used in the therapeutic setting of resuscitation (or even in a non-therapeutic setting, e.g., opioid OD) blunt the recollection of an NDE?

I did not experience a life review in my NDE. I was working in a contained area . The electrical was supposed to be off . We spray metal with water. The conduits were hanging from the ceiling. I had a splint on my left wrist. The conduit swung over to the splint and I crossed over.I spoke to a being to the left of me . He wore a white gown with a gold rope wrapped twice around his waist. Telepathically I was asked if I wanted to stay or go back I told him I couldn’t stay, I had children I had to take care of ! He said it wasn’t my time . I had a mission to finish! I shot back down the tunnel and looked back up and seen myself pulling away from the wire that had ahold of me and I mimicked what I seen and it threw me back 6 foot into a concrete wall and I sucked the breathe back into my body!! And screamed ! My coworker picked me up and carried me out of containment. I was taken to the hospital.

I posted my story to the NDerf many years ago. I am still looking for answers. I basically thought i was going to hit a car head on in 1987, I was 17. I was over taking a bus in a 2 lane in both directions, but the bus was coming out his lane pushing me over to on coming traffic. I then seen a big flash of light like a old camera. I then watched my life in reverse, seeing everyone from my life going back to being inside my mum's belly. The strangest thing is, how did the car get a good 200 yards round a bend and over a train bridge and park perfectly at a set of traffic lights. Was I put there has in a safe zone, very busy road 40 mph. Now I came round from cars and buses beeping horns, now I came round, had no idea where I was, it was very strange, my male school friend was curled up, with his back to the passenger door, crying, petrified he was. All he said was, what the F happened to you, I said where am i, what happened, I was tired, bedazzled, basically no idea. I managed to take him home in a trance, we never spoke again at all. It was so weird. How did or who did move or control the car. Had i died, did my heart stop. I definitely changed, my love for animals or anything breathing is ridiculous now.

It cant be and never will be. It cant be a physical place if it exists so its not real. And also how can a dead body be aware? awareness is just conciousness so without a living body there cant be awareness. I believe it is only the brain releasing toxins that cause similar episodes with anyone who nearly died. once the brain actually dies then there can be no awareness, all of these people who reported NDE didnt die so they cant be used as evidence of life after death.

I think that there is an overlap between NDE and DMT trips. It's consciousness, and people who took hero doses of hallucinogens know exactly what I'm talking about. The difference is that when you have NDE you go directly to the spirit world, whereas DMT gives you a glimpse into the divine, only or that much. You also can have quite literal experiences of the deceased during a trip. You can even do all of it without any drugs, but this is with complete devotion to what some would call mysticism. Also - no one DMT trip is like another. Depending on the needs of a particular consciousness, you experience what you need to experience at that particular moment. One is a quite literal experience of the afterlife, the other is a mystical and ceremonial experience that gives you enough information to "click" with the knowledge. Then you go, you want more or not, you can actually tune into the magic of consciousness or not. Both hallucinogenic experiences and NDE's can be transformative experiences. Not to mention out-of-body experiences that are closer to NDE.

Into heaven. It wasn’t scary. Very peaceful. Sunlight coming thru clouds so beautiful. Saw angels gleaming vibrating colors and light brighter than eve seen the colorful light of angels. Angels all different sizes. I met Jesus. He was very gentle and kind. He asked me if I recognized him. Saying you remember learning about me Mary. He held my hand and explained where I was and what happened. It was beautiful there but I missed my mother. There were people there whom knew me. I didn’t know them. There were also other children there. I could play there with them. I think Jesus and angels were thinking of possibly keeping me. Jesus spoke to me about. What I thought about that. Although it was peaceful and happy there I told him my mother would miss me. I missed her also. He said my mother would eventually be okay.

That's awesome that you had such an awesome experience!!! I'd be scared out of my mind to ever try something like that. I went, when I was a lot younger, to, well, let's just call it what it was, ... a cult. A United Pentecostal Church cult!!! Extremely damaging to the people who go there. Extremely abusive!!! But, anyways, not wanting to tell you too much about the cult I went to. So, I'll try my best to not go into grrat detail. But, let's just say that they scared the crap out of me and pretty much everybody who was there. Jim Jones actually attended this cult before he went on to MURDER thousands of innocent people (men, women, boys, girls, and even little toddlers and infants) at the Church he started shortly after leaving the United Pentecostal Church, in Guyana. Made the concoction of cyanide laced Kool-aid and asked and pleaded with everyone to take it, and because they were so brainwashed, I'm sure most of them took it, voluntarily. And, the others who were not quite as messed up in the head and brainwashed, were more hesitant and refused to take it, were made to drink it. Shortly after, or maybe many hours later (not sure how long it took for everybody to actually die), they'd pass on. Anyway, I said all that to say this: I'd be scared out of my mind to ever try taking the plant medicine you were talking about because I'm pretty sure I'd be terrified of having a REALLY BAD experience. They did nothing but preach hell, fire and brimstone!!! Fear based religion!!! So, I'd probably get scared out of my mind and start having experiences of going to hell or the Lake of Fire or something like that and start going absolutely crazy in front of everyone. How embarrassing would that be?!!? But, yeah, I don't think I better try. But, I honestly am curious what you think on this, if you don't mind?!!? I have really bad ADHD, so sometimes, I get overwhelmed by other people's long responses (even though I'm a chatter box, myself lol). Just have problems trying to figure out HOW to respond back to everything that you would maybe write in a response, and it's sometimes overwhelming to me, which is why I might not be able to respond back to everything that you write, but I'd definitely try to. Just wanted to let you know in advance. And, actually, my therapist is now saying that she thinks I might not even have ADHD. She's saying that I have Complex PTSD because of everything I have gone through and still go through, on a regular basis, from having gone to the Church for so long. But, I guess PTSD can really cause you to be scatter brained, too. My therapist says it might all be from the Complex PTSD. I do not know!!! But, yeah, I was just wondering if you could tell me, if you were me, would YOU chance going through that experience?!!? Just curious!!! And, thanks again!!!

@@mikesimons8839 If I would be you, I would rather focus on the beauty of this world... On Love, Truth, Peace, Right Conduct and Non violence which are the real human values. Look for them inside of you, make them grow and share them with others. Dont try anything else because you dont need it in order to be happy, we dont need It. We only need to give whatever we can, because more we give, more we get back. But It must be genuine. Much Love to you♥️🙏

How does ayahuasca experience differ from LSD or mescalin? I took those in the late '60s and can still recall what they were like.

God is the best word we know, but he(GOD) surpasses all understanding. He is all.

*According to "The Gospel 'ACCORDING TO' John", in chapter 1, verse 1 and 2, GOD is a "WORD", that existed with another "WORD" in the beginning, ( since removed from scriptures, by religious SCRIBES ) quote; 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. End Quote...*
