I love watching the first few seconds of the interview. I love it when even women simp for Aishwarya! It is understandable when men do it but women doing it means so much more! They feel secure enough to let her know how gorgeous she is. Like that time in PS 1 trailer launch the host goes "All the boys love Aishwarya" and Trisha interjects and adds "even the girls also" uff so heartwarming. Of course, Aish never lets go of any opportunity to hype her women costars too. at 0:38 that slight look of annoyance that crosses her face is so adorable! she must be so tired of hearing that she's beautiful lol

If someone serves you water at a restaurant or food you don’t thank them even though they are paid for that job. I see Indians in India are very different than Indians in the US. Thanking someone is not getting friendly with them. If you fall on the street and a stranger helps you up doesn’t mean you don’t thank and if you do doesn’t mean you have to take them home. Wow what a mind job!

Comparing a selfless act of kindness to a paid job to justify your argument. Wrong analogy. Those two "services" are not the same. Unless your job is literally impacting lives like a soldier or a firefighter, you are not doing a favour on anyone. You're doing your job like everyone else is doing their job. It's business. I've done services where people didn't express thanks but that doesn't have to mean that they were being arrogant or disrespectful unless they are behaving in a way or said something that would make me feel disrespected. If they say thank you, great, they are being courteous but I won't go ahead and make assumptions about them if they don't. And I'm not sure what you are implying by Indians in India being very different from Indians in US. I'm sure you will act differently in a country like Japan where there are other codes of behaviour just like those Indians in US, as they say, when in Rome, do as the Romans. Just that doesn't make you or your country better or worse. Aishwarya not saying thanks to the hairdresser does not make her rude. If anything, she is known to be a calm, patient and hard working woman.

I am also comparing a person paid and thanking them if they bring your food and drinks but I don’t think you read that example 😂 I never said she was rude or even use that word explicitly. A thanks is a thanks whether you thank someone on the street or if you thank your waiter who is being paid to bring you food or drinks but you thank them anyway because it shows what your parents have taught you. At least that’s what I have always learned growing up in India and it translated very well as I became a young woman in NY. If someone doesn’t thank you sure it doesn’t mean they are rude (in some instances) but that wasn’t my point anyway. A thanks is a thanks I only expressed a philosophy that I live by I never said she is rude for not saying so although it does look good I’m sure others would say even more in her praises.
