YTA, but not for "telling him why" YTA for not being a mature person and discussing this with your brother too the moment it happened. Instead you play these... whatever it is, mind games? You're treating him like this was his decision or selfishness. It's not hard to know that this was a unilateral "boundary" set by his harpy of a wife. It's your fault for letting this drama simmer instead of addressing it.
