"Shravan Aitar Puzovap/Pujan" - Significance of Sunday puja ritual during the month of Shravan and sweets "nevedya" prepared on each of the 4 Sundays.
"Chaturmas" period consists of 4 months considered to be holy and "Shravan" month is the considered to be the most auspicious month in the Hindu calendar. Many observe a completely vegetarian "Shivrak" Shravan month - what is known as "no onion, no garlic" Shivrak diet. While puja for a specific deity is performed on almost all week days in this month.
