The problem with todays rap scene is that you have some rappers, like Drake and Central Cee, that are very commercial and big but at the same time don’t have any respect in the streets where rap originates. For those rappers they have nothing to gain by being in a dissing contest. They’re too big, and 90% of their listeners know nothing about them rap music. So they just get away with it. In the old days, if you were bodied in a diss track you were done. But I think that ended with Jay-Z vs. Nas and Ether. Nas bodied him but Jay was too big and didn’t reply. And he still stayed on top. That became a lesson to other top rappers with little credibility in the streets. Don’t play a game where you have little to gain and nothing to lose.

Any publicity is good publicity especially in rap people just need to be talking. Cench’s stuff is mainstream now but he losing a bit of that uk audience the bigger he gets this ties him down back to that cuz most people outside of the uk won’t understand what’s even being said in this song or the meaning behind the bars. I ain’t saying they’d unfollow each other because of this but if it was real they wouldn’t be following each other in the first place. All the rappers they friends with are cool with each other too it doesn’t make any sense for it to be real. It’s just a tool to get every type of audience if it be fans of old school rap or grime or his new fans and mainstream people talking about the album. Aitch didn’t say anything that’s not already been made public it’s just a hard song which is probs why cench comments saying fair enough. Don’t you find it odd two guys who been friends cench has admired aitch has a bar about him etc go from that to all of a sudden they got beef the day the album drops?
