Pragyan Rover How it Works
With dimensions of 0.9 meters in length, that makes it less than 3 Feet, and measures around 0.75 meters in width, and 0.85 meters in height.
The Praguyan Rover may be compact but it's a true powerhouse.
Weighing in at approximately 27 Kgs, this rover is a testament to cutting-edge engineering and innovative design.
Let’s compare this to a human to help us understand it's size.
Even better let's compare this to other rovers.
First up, is the Chinese Yutu Rover, around 1.5 meters and weighs around 140 kiluhgrams
It's slightly larger than the Pragyaan Rover.
Now, NASA's Curiosity Rover enters the scene, with a substantial 2.9 m. And don't forget the impressive Perseverance Rover from Nasa itself.
Last but not least, let's talk about the monumental Apollo Lunar Vehicle.
While not exactly a rover, it was a colossal lunar vehicle, designed for astronauts and a plethora of scientific gear.

@@SelyanBDK The propulsion module is not just orbiting bro it have one payload onboard named "SHAPE". The work of SHAPE is to study light rays reflected from earth and than send that data to ISRO, from this data ISRO scientists will find spectroscopic signature of earth and will try to match that signature with the signature of other planets if the signature of Earth and that planet coincides than it means that that planet have life. You can read more about SHAPE and other payloads onboard Chandrayaan-3 on ISRO website or Wikipedia.

As a pakistani, i felt so proud of india. Indians are so progressive. I love ISRO more than NASA and the reason is that because they can work in less materials more hard than NASA which has a lot of resources and materials but has less hard workers. I hope india will also make a Telescope like james webb. They can do it. I believe them. And also, please make animation on Iron Dome israeli defense mechanisms.

Amazing detail which is really appreciated, but just one correction- The door of the lander has two components, a primary door, and a secondary door. First the external fold(door) opens till completely vertical and then the whole ramp goes down at once. You showed the outer part and the inner part open simultaneously. Referring to official isro animations, so check on that a bit. Also, you probably used Chandrayaan 2 vikram model instead of the current, having a central engine; the new Vikram has none. I'm just a die hard detailer, that's why. But your research is amazing, so is your explanation. Thanks!

Indian rover only has a 14day window to collect data. I really wish if the Russian rover landed safely as well cause their rover had a radio isotope powering the rover which would enable it to stay alive even during cold Solar Night. So more Data couldn't have been collected by both Rovers saperately. Whether the Russian rover electronics was able to withstand the Solar night that's a question I don't know the answer to but it would have been nice if they landed too for human Space exploration progress. Anyhow I hope pragyan collects enough data to secure confirmation of Ice underneath ✌🏻

Pride country ko hai, scientists ko nahi. Ye jitne elements mile hai, hamare scientists ne discover kiye hai. Rover ko isro se command mil raha hai. Idiot. 😡😡😡😡

(1) Chandrayan - 1 launched in 2008 confirmed presence of Water H2O on Moon. (2) Chandrayan -3 . Here are the first observations from the ChaSTE payload onboard Vikram Lander. Temperature on the surface of moon is 50°+ and -10° on just 8 cm deep ChaSTE (Chandra's Surface Thermophysical Experiment) measures the Temperature Profile of the Lunar topsoil around the Pole, to understand the Thermal behaviour of the Moon's Surface. It has a Temperature Probe equipped with a Controlled Penetration Mechanism capable of reaching a depth of 10 cm beneath the surface. The probe is fitted with 10 individual Temperature Sensors. The presented graph illustrates the temperature variations of the lunar surface/near-surface at various depths, as recorded during the Probe's Penetration. This is the first such profile for the lunar south pole. (3) Chandrayan -3 : Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument onboard the Pragyan Rover unambiguously confirms the presence of SULPHUR (S) in the Lunar Surface near the South Pole, through first-ever in-situ measurements. Al, Ca, Fe, Cr, Ti, Mn, Si, and O - OXYGEN are also detected.
