Aiyima T8 Tube Preamp (Go through and how it sounds)

A pretty awesome design and even better sound. This Aiyima T8 preamplifier offers a lot of features, a lot of connectivity and can be used as a DAC (digital to analog converter) via USB to PC connection.
I am satisfied with the ability to adjust bass and treble and very easy and logical controls. And for the cherry on the top of the cake, it sounds amazing.

Is the tube applied to the DAC, so both line out and headphone out have tube sound? Or it is regular dac, and tube is only on the headphone amp, so only headphones get tube sound, and line out is regular dac?

Ya i did tbh i couldn't here a difference with the pre amp here on it too vs just connecting BT to the power amp... but the pre amp seemed to make the volume threshold alot higher and more featurs

@@sweetandsour6521 You can cheat it and use the headphone out as the preamp. Use a 3.5mm to RCA. This way you are utilizing the tube. As a preamp. It only uses the tube as a buffer.

Will it give good sound only to a headphone. I will conndct my smartphone with jack to this to play music and listen in my headphone.

Hi ALS, Once again you have completed a very good review and unboxing but you did seem a bit mystified when you took that USB thumb drive from the Aiyima T8 box. Still, and I must admit, I do like the Aiyima range of equipment and especially their prices. You know, it seems to me that Aiyima could be the new "Nobsound" for those taking their first steps into buying equipment to reproduce their music. Until your next review. Bob

Thank you Bob! Yeah firstly I didn't know why is the USB stick for.. but after I plug it on my computer and see the drivers on it was clear to me.. Yeah I agree with you. The Aiyima puts out nice audio products on a good quality level and for the audiophile start on a budget I think they hit the point.
