If ur talking about the spin off sword oratoria it’s 12 eps but is a really bad adaptation of this cannon spinoff series that the author is writing. The anime covers the first 4 books which are now at 15 volumes. It’s ashamed that it did bad since the books are really good.

Ah Kirkland brand Violet Evergarden. Not quite a losing heroine but definitely falling behind. It's ironic that Ryu has a simple backstory that makes her appealing. While Ais has this super complex backstory that does her no favors. The story can salvage her by stop trying so hard. Keep her direct. She lost her parents in the dungeon so she hates everything from the dungeon until she encounters the xenos. Bell breaking her out of her obsession can lead to think about romance not just being a bystander to it
