Dude. I think the biggest difference between pros and noobs is the ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt. I can make the perfect build order and hit great timings but the minute I am losing that Daimyo to early pressure ,I gg out. Haha

He wasn't doing heavenly kami shrine boom. Instead he was going the tori gate route. This is a route that focuses on early military forces so you'd better save that consulate 200 wood for a barrack or some shrines.

it would've took him significantly longer to age up and he was expecting early aggression so his shrines would've been destroyed anyway. the momentum from torii gates is much more powerful because of faster shipments

When I play with japan against Inca at rank ~1000, I have like 35 Inca military units in my base at 6 minutes, 50 at 7. Am I being matched against unbeatable bots? Because these guys are top players and they seem like noobs to me... The Japan player sent 2 vills while he could send 3 boats in age 1, then put his shrines on gold while having a full mine behind his TC, then makes his daimyo commit a useless suicide, like wtf are these guys doing lol

Isn't it absurd? Inca didn't use metal weapon but Japanese used Iron sword that cut stone. However, Inca beat Japanese. I think lots of Inca soldier has to be killed based on their weapon.
