This game is a lot of learning and paying attention, especially at first. You cant I-frame aoe attacks with the dodge, or abilities that do that red flash as those are undodgable and unblockable. A lot of people spam the dodge roll like its the secret answer to everything and then get mad when they still die. Attacking is better than dodging in 99% of scenarios.

WASD controls will leave your mouse open to bind all your skills, mouse movement wyle using it to aim and cast skills is a pain in the ass imo.

Alex: "Melee is always tough early..." yea, and middle, and end. i would never advise someone melee in these games as 1st char. great for learning, but steep learning curve, can put ppl off quick.

Idk I'm playing a monk and after like lv 10 he gets pretty solid

Checkpoints and waypoints also refill flasks. So does leveling.

It was so clearly failing to process that the Bloated Miller adjusted his attack direction towards you that had Joe thinking he was not supposed to be hit, while fighting at ranged the increased distance increased the time until the attack arrived when he was playing Merc. It was Quill18 who first taught me that streaming while gaming really impacts your thinking and situational processing...

30:03 the real bullshit of this attack is right here. He (The Miller) turns to do the attack, after the attack is initiated, and it's as Joe is rolling to the right. The attack is actually mobile mid animation, and follows the player. And this... is why I'm ranged

Alot of poe2 boss attacks follows you for a short while before actually striking, you just have to wait that extra 0.5 second before dodge roll. Panic roll will 100% be hit.

Alex is bad at playing with a person their first time... He was giving information that Joe doesn't even need to worry about yet. 😂 I'm tired of making new posts so... Joe you teleport to people by if they create a portal, you just go through it or clicking on them in the group window and choosing to move to them.
