Hi Professor, such an interesting conversation, Tom is a super-interesting guy. The work he has done and the impact he has had in helping raise the profile (for want of a better term) of the Phenomenon cannot be understated. The fact that there have now been public Congressional inquiries into UAP and the Phenomenon is testament to the agitation of governmental agencies, and the ongoing scientific inquiry that "To the Stars Incorporated" carries out. If you proposed the work that To the Stars does as a plotline for one of your novels most people would laugh at you. Anyway, here we are on 11 June and Trinity has dropped into my Kindle. I haven't turned the first page of Trinity yet and I don't know if I will do so until I finish reading Volume 2 of Tom's and Peter Levenda's non-fiction series "Secret Machines: Gods, Man & War. I feel I might finish that book before I begin reading Trinity. My thinking on this is that after reading Tom and Peter's non-fiction works, I can see how you have cleverly woven some of the non-fiction theories and actual governmental/defence experiments on the paranormal into your first two Sekret Machines novels. I wonder if I will appreciate Trinity more if I recognize some of the factual Easter Eggs that you may have hidden in the fictional Trinity storyline. I don't know if you have written anything like that into the plot, but I figure I can wait a week, just in case you have. So, congratulations to both you and Tom on the release of Trinity, I can't wait to read it. I just know this one is going to go gangbusters for you.

I don't know how I've been subbed and watched so many of your videos for years now AJ and didn't know until today that you had written (now) 3 books with Tom Delonge, whom I've always sort of loosely followed both for his Blink 182 career (I was a teen when their music videos were all the rage on MTV) and his UFO/UAP passion. Mind is kind of blown ngl. Those are two worlds I had never even imagined could co-exist for almost 10 years now and I had no idea :D. For me Prof AJ Hartley was my go-to when I wanted a deep dive into BABYMETAL lyrics with a smile on the face during a reaction. If you'll remember, I was in your "Thank You BABYMETAL" hiatus video as well. Ah well, enjoyed this interview, might look into these books then! Take care Prof ;)

hesher mentioned! a real socal dude. i have a memory of my next door neighbor being a hesher and when i bring it up no one knows what im talkin about! was a good dude, played vidja and was into d&d. really nice person and i think i learned that the most scary looking people were the nicest if you treated them in a friendly matter. i also grew up into punkrock in socal and heard blink from an early stage. we were into more hardcore stuff but i come back now and find myself listening to blink and such for the nostalgia. im really into the ufo reality now and find tom the best voice in the cause.
