Very good in depth interview, AJ comes across intelligent and articulate.. It’s good to hear coming from a UK rapper/ artist.. 👏🏼💯

When you listen to really talented grime, or not still artists their control or the language is amazing. Really clever uses of the language - AJ is very much part of that group.

Haven’t watched it yet but think Cole did the right thing, it was clearly way bigger than a little rap beef, it was personal, for Kendrick especially, he had the backing of most of hip hop. This was between drake and Kendrick, J.Cole didn’t need to be involved and smartly bowed out.

I think I agree with you, I reckon this was probs recorded before we saw how deep the beef got though. It looked like Cole made a really bad mistake at first

AJ's proper sound, I like his music and don't even agree with all his political views but one of a few U.K artists I've seen grow as an individual, many from London seem to still have the same mindset. He also put on west London massively in my generation.

It would have been interesting for Ollie to have linked the conversation more to the rap background - for example “ok you want to see the juiced Olympics, but how do you feel about rap being competitive with ghost writers?”.

I get thag dissing is part of the hip hop culture but nothing wrong in being real and apologising when you feel you got it wrong. That's real life rather than thinking your fellow artists in the genre are always your competition.

Growing up in central London makes you astonishingly privileged, the opportunities are incomparable to almost anywhere in England let alone the world. You don't get that sense from this interview. Would love more gratitude and less grievance in society, unfortunately the former requires humility and intelligence

@@markford-h7l Ladbroke Grove is in Zone 2 it's a stone throw from the West End & near South Kensington and Knights Bridge etc. You can try and call it a "ghetto" but we who know London are aware that all areas in London have mixed housing, mixture of residents with different income brackets.

@YesSir-ms3uk firstly British is a nationality made up of mixed ethnicities. hardly anyone in Britain is is full celtic and most of the full celtics are in scotland. not england. does everyone skip primary school history? cos we literally learn about all the invasions of britian in school yet you all speak like you dont know you have mixed ethnicity. this is how genetics works.

Don't try to please Yt people- they dgaf about you- 2faced liars and theives. But you #AJtracy you are WHITE ✅‼️ You momma is white so are you. From a white woman you're white , from a black womans you're black. Genetics follow the Mother's blood line ALWAYS- that's how its done ☑️ All heritage is down to the Mother NOT the Father. Mixed race people so desperate to be black. 😂
