Just observe, a Muslim boy marries a divorcee in a Hindu ritual... then the food choices are different from their religious beliefs... and in the end, Jesus himself comes to help... These are the kinds of things we watched as kids... the beautiful secular yet still purely spiritual love representing ethos of the Indian subcontinent, ethos of modernity.. which is much more nuance, poetic you can see anywhere globally.. That's what art should do, I guess... break down barriers and lead by love.. And i think its not just about Bollywood.. its much more.. society, politics, economics.. cinima reflects society and society shapes cinema..
