It makes me wonder if Ajaw would mourn for Kinich’s death when he does die. Ajaw seem like the type of person who openly said bad things but on the inside cares about Kinich and sees him as his friend. Like you could write a sad story of Ajaw’s life after he possess Kinich’s body.

Funny you should mention that. In Kinichi's Vision Story, it details how exhausted he was while Ajaw says that while he can't give him more power, he would avenge Kinichi if he died. This gave him the energy to keep fighting until he died and Ajaw paid his respects. But once Kinich received his Vision, he was brought back to life within the Night Kingdom until he was properly revived by the Ode of Resurrection. Ajaw was actually frustrated by Kinichi's revival, since that meant he couldn't use his body.
