Ajax players discover their family history with MyHeritage DNA

Four players from the internationally renowned football club Ajax from Amsterdam have made special discoveries about their family history with MyHeritage DNA.
Daley Blind, Joël Veltman, Dušan Tadić and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar took MyHeritage DNA tests to find out more about their ethnic roots, their ancestors' origins. Watch their reactions as they learn about their results.

The Tadić family comes from Pivljani, a Serbian clan from present-day Montenegro. The Y-DNA haplogroup of the members of the Pivljani clan is N, most commonly found in Finland.

Daley is british lol. Only one person had dutch ancestory which was Veltman.

Errr dutch is same as english (in its purest form). Angles and saxons came from Holland(jutes from Jutland also). People in say East Anglia will have quite similar results to Dutch people. British is a mix of Saxon/celt viking for the most part. (Thats Welsh as opposed to Gaelic celt) P.s "English' ancestry also similar to North German dna (saxon). Scandinavian is classed seperately. Bottom line English/dutch/german can be very similar.

The most Dutch reading would be a mix of Scandinavian, England and western Europe, as those correspond with the migration patterns of the people within the Netherlands.

@@MauriceTarantulas "British" would have been similar to the Irish but there was Mass Migration of middle eastern farmers from France, about 1000BC, bringing Welsh language with them. Then there were the Germanics. Irish DNA is supposed to be similar to that of the Netherlands!

Danish Akhtar no. They are darker than Southern Europeans and a lot have curly hair except Algerians who many are very pale and white. In Morocco, Mauritania, Egypt and chad people definitely don’t look like Spanish and italian

Of course Dusan would have greek dna. All Balkan people have much or less greek dna. Especially people from Kosovo can be described as close relatives of Greeks since they score over 70, 80, 90% greek dna.
