Which ATEM Is Right For Me?

We were using the Mini Extreme ISO for a while, but jumped at the opportunity to have 4 outputs by getting the SDI version. Absolutely love having 4 outputs. One is split to two TVs in the front, a projector in the back, a Multiview, and a stage monitor. Using a stream deck, we can choose what shows on each monitor. The program out goes to Zoom, and soon to be live streamed. The original Extreme was great, but we always felt limited. The Pastor (me) uses it for mid week Bible studies and board meetings, and such. That’s how we, a small Deaf church use it. We learned about how to use them from Ajay and a few other KZbinrs.

I wish there was a ATEM mini pro ISO with 2 HDMI outs, 2 USB-C's and a headphone jack. If I had that in my home studio it would stay on my desk all the time. The extreme ISO takes up a lot of my desk space and it would be easy to pack and carry.

Thank you for your amazing videos once again. Alway helpful. My church owns an ATEM mini PRO, recently we connected and hdmi splitter to the input of the ATEM mini pro because we didn’t have a fibre optic cable at that time, unfortunately it looks like that input got work after immediately we tried such connection, hence I would like to know if there is any possibility of fixing an ATEM mini pro input which no long detects signal. Thank you.

What about Minis vs TV Studios for churches? What are the pros and cons there?

I thought about that when I was finishing this video up. I've only used 3 of the studios so I couldn't talk about all of them but most of them still do not include livestreaming built in but like at my old church I used the Studio TVS and then the Studio HD which they are still using with a dedicated streaming PC. They are all good but additional hardware is required compared to the mini line.

Connected ATEM MINI Pro directly to computer via USB, running vmix. Getting some frame drops. Ran HDMI to computer from the ATEM via capture card and while there were some frame drops it but it was cut in half. Is this an issue you have run into and what was your solution? Thanks in advance

What is the specs of the system you have the ATEM connected to? I've seen this when the system isn't powerful enough to process the data coming from the ATEM

What about 4K? Because these don’t capture 4K right?

You would need the higher models but those do not include built in recording. You would need an external hyperdeck that supports 4k recording

I use the SanDisk 1tb SSD. For streaming these settings are already accounted for with the ATEM. You have low mid and high which is in the range of what KZbin expects

Can't you use a streaming bridge to get 2 outputs on the Atem Mini pro ISO?

You could but then the ATEM would not be able to stream anywhere rose other than the streaming bridge

I am using the atem mini pro, as the start of my upgrading from my laptop which is not enough to live stream. But anyway, i got a question about the atem, at times the software and the lights on the atem hangs, what course the trouble? Will signal looping course that?
