hope you enjoy the keyboard. I used it for a couple months stock and was satisfied, but modding it helped especially with the sound. let me know how the final product turns out if you still decide to mod it.

I have the pro version of this keyboard. Absolutely love it stock with the gift switches, feels like a dream while typing on it. Although love the mod that you did to it, sounds more creamier.

I would've went with the pro version, but I don't use wireless connectivity and wasn't a fan of the screen. Glad you're enjoying the pro version, from what I've heard through sound tests the gift switches have a deeper sound profile and complement the stock foam configuration better than the sea salt switches.

@CrestfallenKeys Yeah fair enough, as those features are the main difference from pro. Yeah gift switches were the best choice for me, it's feels so nice to type on, after using red switches. The knob to change the volume is also an amazing feature. Don't see myself changing the keyboard for a while.

@@CrestfallenKeysye, gifts are much thockier, if there was maximum foams and very tall keycaps it could be veery thocky

I have the same keyboard. Great board for only $54. I didn't mod anything. I like the sound as is.

It's definitely a solid choice for a budget prebuilt, and has a lot of features that make the stock experience pretty good.

my ajazz ak820 pro gift switch has a wet and like semi rattly ticking spacebar and am worried to try fix if i make it worse anyone got any tips or help
@CrestfallenKeys27 күн бұрын
It's a bit difficult to give a singular solution, but I'd say that the best way to identify the problem is to remove and clean the stabilizer then test it. Generally if the stabilizer sounds wet it's over lubed, rattling is caused by space between the stem and wire, and ticking is due to an unbalanced wire. If this all sounds like too much of a headache, you can always to get some stabilizers from the aftermarket.

i have the same keyboard en route. Q- does this keyboard have multimedia keys, does the wired version have software support If possible can you post picture of instruction manual, cant find it anywhere
@CrestfallenKeys5 ай бұрын
-it does have multimedia keys, but they're accessed through key combinations (ex: FN+F1) -the wired version has software support, but you have to download it from the chinese ajazz website (it's possible to navigate with google translate) -I would recommend downloading the AK820 Pro manual from Epomaker's website, as the information is nearly identical to the AK820 manual, it just has extra sections for the wireless connectivity, TFT screen, etc.
