Morning Jenny..... Nice transformation, makes me so happy when I declutter and organize. So nice to see you...

I like your mindset about decluttering balance. I see some YT channels where they declutter to the point of making life harder for themselves (IMO) bc they've gotten rid of such an extreme amount. Yes, you have room for a couple more shelves in that closet. Fabulous. I would cut off the front of the puzzle and game boxes, and slide them into the bags. I can't put together a puzzle without following along with the picture. Plus having the box lid makes it easier to tell what bag you've got. Closet looks very nice!

I can relate. We are moving so I already know the work ahead of me, but I will not be hard on myself.😊😊

Hi Jen, I certainly agree there needs to be balance in all of life, including decluttering a home. I love the feel when my home is free of clutter (broken things and things I don't use!). It's so freeing to know what you have, to be able to find and access it, and to use it. I decluttered my garage, my craft room and my personal file cabinet in January. I had decluterred the kitchen in December. Not much left to declutter. I'll be going through framed and loose family pics in a couple of weeks! Hope you and all your family are doing well. So sorry to read that Alex was sick. Hope he's all better now! {{{Hugs}}} Gail

Closet looks great, Jenny. Yes, seems like a never ending cycle of decluttering and organizing, but to be expected as things are always making their way into our homes, and just having those days that you just don't feel like being tidy. Have a great rest of your week.

I love the basket idea for the linen! I'm going to do this. I like everything aligned and it's so hard with linen. Great video. I'm on week 2 of my home declutter and it's going faster than I anticipated. We even have EMPTY drawers! 😍

Thank you for the motivation, I need to declutter my bedroom closet and now I feel ready to tackle it! First time commenter btw, my name is Lauren and I live in Utah with my fiancé (getting married in June!) and I love watching you for cleaning motivation. With our move 14 months ago, we decluttered as we unpacked and I continue a few times a year. My only problem is I refuse to declutter my kitchen. Lol. I had a proper garden last summer and learned how to can my rewards! My interests in the kitchen are growing! For some it may collecting shoes, purses, coats, etc….me it’s fit hen stuff 😳

I have contamination OCD. I started watching your videos. Any ideas for contamination ocd? I want to wash my hands after touching the floor and have trouble with putting something on the floor as I think floors are dirty from feet walking on it. I cringe when I see sorting on the floor too.

I think as women when we go to declutter we are getting rid of a lot of things and a lot of things that we've collected over the years maybe the same thing and the thing is that we find within a month or two after we have decluttered these things we go back and repurchase these items I have found myself doing that so what I have come up with for me is I have a pad that I have on my refrigerator that is called a do not buy list so in other words if I collected a lot of coffee mugs or containers and I got rid of a bunch I would keep a list on my refrigerator and a list in my purse so that when I went to the store I would look at my list and not go near those items and not purchase those items because then you would find yourself in a few months having to declutter again. And I particularly don't want to have to do that so I just keep myself accountable and I don't get that guilt for getting rid of things and go repurchase them by keeping myself accountable with my list that I carry with me every time I go to the store. And this can apply to anything that you have an abundance of and that way you just are held accountable that's the way I do it so that I don't keep bringing the same thing back into the house. And you will be surprised at just how less you have to declutter throughout the year

Guess I missed the part where you changed out your dining room chairs. Are you just reupholstering them or are you going to use these as your new chairs? I realy liked the other chairs but I understand when they're rickety or have to be reupholstered, I've had that happen too.

I was very minimal with myself when my husband had cancer for so long and putting the kids through college after he died. I spent everything on my kids. No regrets, but it took me a long time to turn loose of money for decor and my clothing. I am enough of a neat freak that I don't personally care for an overly cluttered house, but bare makes me sad.

Terry, that’s understandable! I’m so sorry you had that hard road to walk. 💔 It sounds like you’ve struck a wonderful balance though with how much you keep in the home. Love you friend! ❤️
